This does seem the likeliest case. Although they were seemingly not Pokémon aliens in XY, just aliens. But they might have retooled it to create the UBS.

yeah nowadays game companies go to Xavier Woods (sometimes with Kofi and E) and Kenny Omega promote and test out their big games due to their popularity

The most interesting part of the trailer is why is the ultimate weapon here?

If it’s before XY, why is it here? The weapon was hidden for centuries and not known where it was. So how could it be bought into the plot if it’s never been seen in the past?

Now if it’s the future, that makes sense that someone could bring the weapon back. Also gives a reason for AZ to get involved. Wanting to make sure that it’s never activated again.

So idk if y'all heard but Nintendo did file a lawsuit against the Yuzu emulator.

Now legally speaking, Yuzu is allowed, it's more so on how it does require you to mod your Switch to bypass encryption keys which is a big no-no. That's not on Yuzu, but rather moreso on the discord server for telling people how do to so.

Anyways who knows if it even gets to court, Atlus tried that with a PS3 emulator and it was dismissed and nothing happened.
