Comparing him to Shirou from F/SN and TM's other big work is like night and day lol.

I have a question that you don't have to answer if you don't like the webshow my question pretains to: if Birdy were to appear in Death Battle, who do you want her opponent to be?

I do watch Death Battle, but mostly for the character/feat history rather than the actual animations themselves.

I can't say that I've put much thought into it as Birdy's abilities are mostly straight forward albeit not the most well explained. It's explored a bit, but basically her main super soldier ability is full control over the electricity her body generates and is used for 3 main functions:

1. Defensive Shielding. Her body isn't immune to swords/gunfire, more so the electricity her body generates acts as a repellent around her that lessens the impact of physical weapons specifically. So gunfire still hurts, but it's more like a flick on the head. The Shield has one major weakness though, in that if someone has a similar bio-electrical field as her such as a regular human or another member of her species, it can negate her shield.
2. Stun Gun. It's given a name in the OVA that I can't recall, but I don't think it has one in the Manga. Basically she can briefly supercharge herself and let out a limited blast of electrical energy. It can be lethal at full charge, but can be used for defensive purposes such electrifying her entire body or the body of someone's hand she is holding.
3. Shifting her body's mass/magnetizing her body. This is the least well explained, but basically how she can endure something such as a truck/care ramming into her without being knocked over/pushed back or throwing a much larger opponent. As well as running up walls/sides of building.

Major Spoiler, Berserker Killer Mode:

Basically how she got her nickname. In times of severe distress/injury, she can revert into an animalistic personality that increases her strength/speed to the extent that she can rip metal apart like paper and is immune to pain.

Other than that, I guess Super Strength and can causally out speed cars on a busy highway (I think that happened in Decode). I don't recall her having any form of healing factor. Control over her body's electricity does technically make her immune to electrical attacks as well as she'll just absorb it and add it to her body's power. In terms of feats, she's technically a child soldier and has taken on entire robot armies by herself.

You're welcome to make of this what you will. Honestly I've been tempted to update the Wikipedia page with how short it is and how it mixes up the different canons. lol

My Game Awards predictions:

GTA 6 trailer

Prime 4 gets a new trailer to celebrate its nomination after Nintendo realized it’s an actually anticipated.

Sega drops something new with Sonic, maybe another movie tie in with a game or something new just to capitalize on the movie.

Boarderlands 4 is already known.

Fortnite will unveil a major collaboration, maybe Hatsune Mimu, or more Disney stuff. Perhaps another Marvel Rivals tie in.

Speaking of which, Marvel Rivals, Mr Fantastic reveal and releases within a week. Roadmap for future characters and events will be posted. Possibly the reveal of the winter event In the files. Free skin and cosmetics to celebrate the huge launch for the game.

taken 8 final dlc is a lock.

I guess I’ll throw Half life 3 on here.

Kingdom Hearts 4 is the other big game. Probably not and something like Elden Ring or a game in that vein, but who knows.

Monster Hunter wilds and Resident evil 9 are revealed.

Multiversus Marceline trailer and Walter White tease for season 5. Or a crossover character as the devs have been teasing for awhile something big is on the way. Joker was supposed to be revealed last year at the game awards, so I think they want to take advantage of that spotlight.

probably not all happening, but there’s my general ball park of ideas for reveals.


Now for things that are 100% a lock.

Mario and Luigi brother ship gets a new update. Luigi is removed from the game and replaced with Sephiroth.

Smash Ultimate gets an update also removing Luigi. He will be replaced with Waluigi who prefers to target actual physicians and does double damage to Doctor Mario.

Geoff Keighly will have body guards this year after realizing being a ceo on an open stage where anyone can get on it, is a bad idea. They will be dressed as characters from the game of the year nominations. Smash fans will speculate what this means.

miyamoto will show up to receive an award and be told to get the **** off the stage by Geoff.

Lastly, all of the muppets will show up to put on one last show to save the Muppets Vision 3D theater from destruction

Well considering how well "Barbenheimer" worked last year, I too predict that both Sonic 3 and Mufasa will do very well this month (considering what I have read from the early reactions.)

Imagine being so arrogant that you can't shut up and get blacklisted anime industry as a result so you make an enemy of the One Piece fandom out of resentment.

Also Jello has always been like this, I remember watching his Fire Emblem video and getting a bad vibe from it even as a teenager and hearing about the LoveCom situation just validated how I felt it.

The One Piece video was so much worse though

It's a shame cuz I liked his "Reviewed in Ten Words or Less" videos and his Miraculous Ladybug video is a hilarious classic of the fandom. "Catnerd has the ability to kill anything he touches. And also make bad puns!"

That said, I definitely know what you mean. I never cared for his Sonic video...and even in his 10 Words videos he sometimes pulls out some terrible takes. Like, he low-balled the hell out of Fantasia.

I watched some of his older videos as means of preparations because I was trying to explain to my friend why I think the One Piece video is bad.

I do hold the opinion that all of his videos have malicious undertones that misrepresent the series he talks about but I don't think any of them is nearly as bad as the One Piece video. Maybe it's because I love One Piece that much but I watched his videos about other things I really love, such as Pokemon, Sonic, and Ace Attorney and they felt fairly tame by comparison. I would call his Pokemon video mostly low hanging fruit.

But maybe it's just that his One Piece video is just so ****ing awful that I became desensitized to anything less than that

I hope they don't completely ditch the humans like some people have been asking for. I'm really not a fan of Sonic and co being aliens and earth being a separate place, and the ability to go between the two settings whenever we want would be better than just one or the other.

Also ditching the humans would mean a low chance of Chaos getting a screen adaptation.
