One Piece live action is coming out in a few hours and I can't remember the last time I was this anxious about a TV show

Like yeah normally I wouldn't be so fussed if it turned out bad since I still have the original manga, but I'm planning to see it with my dad who I could never convince to check out the original manga, plus it's generally one of my favorite stories of all time

And I have to wait a whole day before actually watching it since my dad is coming on Friday

Mario Wonder Direct, anyone?

I was browsing Netflix and randomly found out that it has the 2007 TMNT movie, which is one of the few TMNT things I remember seeing as a kid. I rented this movie a bunch when I was a kid, and I saw it a lot and yet I only seem to remember the beginning portions. So even though it was late I decided to put it on.

I'm 50 minutes in and I now know why I didn't remember anything about it

Although I will say, even though all 3 are produced by Netflix, each one has different writers, directors, production crew and individual producers.

Sorry, wasn't trying to come off as mean, just, I feel like with how historically bad Netflix anime adaptations have been, trying to get someone into the series through one, especially a parent, feels like it's doomed to fail.

Saw Blue Beetle.

It was pretty neat, not the best but it's fun stuff. Made me realize that WB could have just marketed it as Mexican Black Panther and it'd sell but they didn't and it will bomb.

I hate how hard this movie shafted Donnie and Mikey but Leo and Raph's subplot really shined. It's the only part of the movie I would really consider remarkable

I'm kinda disappointed otherwise, the movie's fine but really just kinda made feel nothing for the most part. The voice cast was uniformly fine with the only standouts being Nolan North and James Arnold Taylor as the only turtles that mattered

I can't believe they thought not having the main antagonist of the movie not interact with the turtles until the climax was a good idea. I'm probably gonna forget it again by tomorrow morning

It is astounding to me that Zaslav is just now finding out that people ****ing hate him, dude's made an absolute mess of things ever since he took over.

I've nothing to say about Iger I just hate him and his company

Zaslav was too busy tax cutting stuff, sleeping in Barbie money, and relying on AEW

There's a major glitch where the screen is constantly flashing

so they wanted to hand out free seizures

before the Paramount/Viacom/Nickelodeon buyout, it was meant to get a sequel that focused on Mikey having to both stop a revived Shredder (and due to getting demutated, had to also remutate both his brothers and Splinter)…maybe a 3rd movie would’ve done something like Donnie casually doing nothing while an alien invasion goes down

I played some more today and found out how to turn. Holding down and left/right gives a sharper turn. Boosting before a jump also seemed to help.
