I dont hate Goku but a lot of people dont want him in Smash(makes sense)
and jump to him as the worst case(that not as much)
so i shouldve phrased that better because i suck at englisch

Can one of the big three PLEASE do some kind of Christmas presentation and confirm something from my wish list? I can’t stand the idea of having to wait until most likely friggin March before I hear any more game news, and even then there’s a chance it’s not gonna have something for me in it, as most presentations of all three companies have not for the longest fracking time. Tried to look up crossover fanart between Asura's Wrath and Okami. Shocked there isn't any given their settings based on particular mythologies and owned by Capcom and their protagonists being based on a character with the same name.

Definitely a team-up I'd love to see. Imagine how OP they'd be together. Arguably two of Capcom's most powerful protagonists from Capcom's most OP franchises (Unless you count SMT Dante which I recall is non-canon anyway).

Honestly if I had to pick a single anime character to add to the game, it wouldn't be Goku. It would be Luffy. Like, Goku is cool and all, but considering how popular One Piece is over in JP(not saying DB isn't popular) Luffy would be a better representation of anime as a whole, IMO.

Saber would be cool. I don't know a thing about the Fate series but her design is great.

And that's fair; shonen anime is pretty simplistic and I really only stick to DB for my fix.

I'd agree with saying most shonen anime are pretty simplistic: I'd argue that One Piece, compared to the rest of them, is not simplistic at all. At its core? Maybe, but the underlying plots, character relations, philosophises, all of that, make it less of a "pirate crew search for grand treasure" story, and more akin to something like Star Wars: a simple base premise, but an extremely complicated world and people to go along with it. Everything, even down to the minute detail like how a ship works; is explained in such depth that you'd be hard pressed to find a page on the wikia that isn't at least 5 paragraphs. And more importantly, it all has relevance: there are times when unexplained actions that characters do are fully explained over 300+ chapters later(the most well known one comes from the first chapter regarding Shanks, but there are other times like during the current arc)

One Piece is the most quotable anime I've ever watched, and I love some of the philosophies the characters have, even if I may not agree with them myself.

If I had to pick one anime character to be in Smash, it would be Sailor Moon.

I'm not even a big Sailor Moon fan. I just feel that she's every bit as iconic as Goku (if not more), and fits into Nintendo's cast better both visually and thematically.

Fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight, and never running from a real fight just feels so much more Nintendo than rocking the dragon.

Would say to me that One Piece is one of the more interesting anime, just too many episodes to actually want to start. If it's 50 or under I'm fine with it but 950 is way too much.

Plus with next January having at least five seasonals and needing to finish Fate/Apocrypha, Non Non Biyori etc. and catching up on That Day I Became a God and Fire Force, I'm content with anime right now.

Games on the other hand...........I haven't touched Cyberpunk since the day it came out and probably gonna get another game to go with Persona 5 Royal.

I myself haven't actually watched the anime in a long time; it's just clips while I wait for Wano to end, because the pacing went from "tolerable" to "oh my god please just move on already" in a few months.

although Skypea is pretty close to Sabody iirc.
