DAILY DEMON SHOWCASE
This showcase's demon is of the Wilder race:
View attachment 343833
“mE Wilder Jersey Devil. WAnnA be bUDDieS?! SuRe, we cAn bEcOMe bUDDies!!”
Alignment: Dark-Chaos
Origin: North American mythology. A cryptid said to inhabit the Pine Barrens of South Jersey. It is originally the 13th child of a resident of the region called Mother Reeds, and was born with hooves, bat wings, and a forked tail and beat people around it before flying into the woods. Some say that his parents were a witch and the devil himself. It moves quickly through the sky and cries in a blood-curling scream.
Skills: Blind, Poisma, Masukunda
Next time, you will meet a demon of the Brute race.
This is apparently a pretty popular cryptid so it’s no surprise its design just uses one of the more common visual depictions as a base. From what I gathered, Jersey Devil has only the head of a horse, not the whole body; but leathery wings, hooves, and tail are spot-on. Unlike Mothman, who is playable in plenty of games, it only appears in a handful of games so there’s not much to go on. I have to admit, it’s pretty damn successful at looking creepy so I’d like to see him in more titles.
Amongst my favorite cryptids. :DHere's something positive about Jersey

I would say its more of a Celebration of Nintendo then anything.Unpopular opinion:
Calling Smash "a celebration of Gaming" doesn't make any sense, since most of the roster are Nintendo Characters.
This is dumb, isn't it?
Yeah sure.I would say its more of a Celebration of Nintendo then anything.
People probably says this given the 3rd parties.
Wow, interesting.
Huh interesting. Bayonetta's the only 3rd party female. Of course not counting alts like Alex with Steve or Kazooie paired with Banjo.
Part of that is the lack of main characters that are females (besides Lara Croft and few others) but yeah no I think we need chun li at some point

Smash Fans complaining: That's just Min Min except not a stretchy fighter.Part of that is the lack of main characters that are females (besides Lara Croft and few others) but yeah no I think we need chun li at some point
I think gamers don't get what a digital secondary market can bring to them. For now, because of the current situation and context of NFTs, gamers really believe it's first destroying the planet, and second just a tool for speculation. But what we [at Ubisoft] are seeing first is the end game. The end game is about giving players the opportunity to resell their items once they're finished with them or they're finished playing the game itself. So, it's really, for them. It's really beneficial. But they don't get it for now.
"You may think NFTs are just environmentally destructive and making rich people even richer but you should understand that they can also make rich people even richer."
I didn't think it was possible to sound more condescending and patronizing than the statement Sqaure's CEO made, but holy crud this reads out like a cartoon villain's script, it's hilarious."You may think NFTs are just environmentally destructive and making rich people even richer but you should understand that they can also make rich people even richer."
When he was making Rayman Legends. When was the last time Ubisoft made a good game?
Mario Rabbids was rad and I heard good things about AC: Odessey, but other than that? When was the last time Ubisoft made a good game?
I had lots of fun with Immortals: Fenyx Rising. When was the last time Ubisoft made a good game?
NFTs are just such an enigma to me at this point. Like, everyone is just SO vocally against them to the point that corporations have to convince (and fail) their consumers that it's a good investment. Fellas, if your product was good, you wouldn't have to convince people it isn't bad. They would be able to tell it's good by looking at it.
It's a funny buzzword old rich dudes heard in board meetings and are now trying to push for BEEG DOLLA DOLLA.NFTs are just such an enigma to me at this point. Like, imagine if I sold radioactive waste in a freaking bottle. No one would drink it. And then I would say "Oh well they just don't get it yet "
"Beeg"It's a funny buzzword old rich dudes heard in board meetings and are now trying to push for BEEG DOLLA DOLLA.
It's also used as a form of tax evasion so lol.
The best part is that this dude and all the other advocates are like "THIS WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING" when what NFTs do are services and features we already have
Just way more harmful and wasteful :^)
Tbf, Nintendo has a lot of characters iconic to gaming already under their beltUnpopular opinion:
Calling Smash "a celebration of Gaming" doesn't make any sense, since most of the roster are Nintendo Characters.
This is dumb, isn't it?
Yoshi may evade his taxes"Beeg"
"Tax evasion"
So NFT shills are Yoshi now.
(Bad joke is bad; i'm sorry lol)
A load of horse****.
AC Valhalla is pretty good and I'm not saying that cause of Ireland. It's also pretty good combat wise. Doesn't have the terrible difficulty spike Odyssey has that pissed me off. When was the last time Ubisoft made a good game?
Unless you want:Like, imagine if I sold radioactive waste in a freaking bottle. No one would drink it.
They have to convince people it's a good investment because NFTs are literally worthless if people don't buy them out of hype.NFTs are just such an enigma to me at this point. They'll keep pushing it and screaming about how it's a gift and we're all too stupid to understand it.So, how long until NFTs backfire on companies and people and start turning out bad for them, if they ever do?
Sounds about accurate, if you ask me.They'll keep pushing it and screaming about how it's a gift and we're all too stupid to understand it.
And when backlash reaches its peak and sales start to suffer, they'll put out a halfhearted apology, claim "We're for the gamers, honest, pinky swear, love you guys! <3"
and then pretend it never happened
they'll then do something else dumb and the cycle continues
video game industry moment
Meanwhile I'm just watching SEGA like:Sounds about accurate, if you ask me.
PLA's goated though, what can we even yell about?Gimme like an hour and I'll find something to yell about Pokémon or Sonic
Ubisoft Quartz already bombed, Sega cancelled their NFT plans and Square Enix's NFTs are gonna bomb so it's looking like NFTs aren't a good investment. They have to convince people it's a good investment because NFTs are literally worthless if people don't buy them out of hype.
It's fictitious capital 101.
Switch to a Pokemon pfp, you might be noticed then.I want to change pfp already.
Have a feeling sticking to Kurumi will be nothing but bad luck. cough post b'd cough
You get that feeling bro?Switch to a Pokemon pfp, you might be noticed then.
still not BotWPLA's goated though, what can we even yell about?
