Or, alternatively, blame corporations for pushing the beginning of the "Christmas Season" forward every year? I suppose there's a case to be made for people who drink the Kool-Aid as well though.

Like, I ain't the biggest fan of Thanksgiving (the family portion is nice but let's not romanticize early America's horrendous treatment of indigenous peoples please) but surely we can keep Christmas contained within December instead of starting it in ****ing August like some places do now.
