Nintendo also did recently trademark an image of an N64 controller in lineart. Ben Holt showed it to me and claimed that it resembled the icons used when you connect the wireless NES and SNES controllers to switch, just not colored in. And like.... IDK which I believe more but I would also be very shocked if TWO new platforms came to NSO at once.

I’d get it if the gen 1/2 Pokémon games were on it.

They’re busted and outdated, and not the optimal ways to play the game. But you gotta pay respects to your favorite series’ origins.

Honestly I never wanna play the original N64 version of Banjo. Considering your note count doesn't save in that game when you leave a world or die. Plus the Xbox version looks nicer and is in widescreen and has really good controls and camera. I just... can't ever imagine playing the N64 version. Which is why I want Rare Replay on Switch so bad.

Not sure if I've noticed this but lately plenty of media from the 80s and 90s had been lately making a comeback whether it's Rocko, Bill & Ted, Coming to America then the Nick racing and All-Stars Brawl that brought some Nick classics back like Ren & Stimpy and CatDog and now Courage returning for a crossover with Scooby-Doo.

Is nostalgia the next thing after superheroes? Hmmm...

Makes me wonder if we'll get reboots of Street Sharks and Extreme Dinosaurs. Loved those two shows.

Not to also say its a bad thing but all this nostalgia being brought back not belated sequels like Bill & Ted and Coming to America seem like just desperate attempts for Hollywood to keep making more money as possible.

Bill & Ted 3 likely only having been just made to take advantage of Keanu Reeve's current success. Otherwise no one aside from hardcore nostalgic fans of that decade probably wouldn't remember those films.
