I actually did it. I beat Pokemon Sword again. I FINALLY gathered the patience to tread through the story.

The only killing he did was justified in that movie was when he got jumped and shot his attackers in self defence.

I guess at this point, I can throw ACNH into the group of games I like that people dislike for one reason or another, and you know what? That's okay. I can definitely see why people are so miffed about the game as it currently stands, but I still get a big heap of enjoyment out of it to this day. I dunno, I guess I'm just not as passionate about the series as some others.

Add me to that group, i love New Horizons. You enjoy it more once yo block all the people ******** about the game on twitter too

Ah yes, I remember the birthday I got the game alongside the Samus amiibo (because I bought the Metroid one on the original launch day earlier that year) and also went with my Friends and bought the Odyssey Peach amiibo.

That was one of my best birthdays ever.

I remember picking that up before heading to work and a colleague joking she'd steal it. I had the collector's edition that France, Europe's biggest Nintendo region only got 100 copies of iirc, and I was willing to throw ****ing hands

Oh god, I saw that Collector's Edition on launch date standing there at the store I went to look for the Metroid amiibo.

But my mother being so strong about what I spend my money for felt that It was too expensive so I missed out on It.
The next day It already got sold.

Hopefully a mistake which doesn't happen again with Dread.

It’s decent, though rather short.

some of the themes like post-war trauma could have been explored in more depth too

but it’s miles better than the old live action movies for sure

You probably wouldn't be the only one because I've seen some reviews where folks weren't impressed with it either. For the most part though I feel it earns a spot up there as one of the better video game movies.

My opinion of it is it's decent for what it is.

I was so excited for Detective Pikachu and that's probably what ruined it for me.
It was just kinda underwhelming to me even if I thought the Pokémon looked great and it felt really true to the source material. The plot was very generic and predictable and none of the characters were memorable, aside from Ryan Reynolds of course.
The Sonic movie was similar in a lot of ways but I had much more fun with it.

Really hoping for a sequel taking the World Tour approach where it turns out the 3 capsules weren't the only ones on the space shuttle and had spread t parts across the world.

You could have Boris the Rhino in Africa, Kingston the Cobra in India, Rojo the Bull in Spain, hell the ocean with Marco the Shark or Ruby the Lobster for that matter. Either that or new original monsters.

What would make it cooler is bringing Lizzie and Ralph back where it turns out because of their regeneration, they were only briefly dead. I could imagine a scene where as officials are about to collect Ralph's headless body, it suddenly springs up and clumsily runs around like a headless chicken, slowly overtime he head grows back eventually. Both him and Lizzie are eventually given cures for their aggression and Davis leads them and George against said mutated animals across the world.

Despite it being a rip-off of Howard the Duck in terms of plot. Hell the titles are the characters names and what animals they are.

You can't tell me this was a coincidence. I'm fairly convinced they literally stole its plot.
