Speak for yourself, Debbie-downer.

All I need is smash, a new hisui Pokémon, or a glimpse of squids to come out satisfied. And I’m guaranteed to get at least one.
Good for you. Personally anything Nintendo could show that I want has the potential to be a huge monkey’s paw situation or just flat out disappointing so…. shrugs

But yeah. Hubworld was great an I just want to focus on that right now.

Another thing about my experience going to watch Suicide Squad.

Before the movie started, we went to eat at McDonald's so my old friends could get to meet my college one before watching the movie.
And they were having a Space Jam 2 promotion, so I took the chance to order the food alongside the LeBron James figure.
It may be a McDonald's toy, but It does look neat alongside my LEGO Looney Tunes Collection:

Gonna make a prediction that the September Direct will NOT reveal the Smash chara

But will say "Tune in X day for a Mr.Sakurai Presents!"
The masses would start flinging ****, but I could work with that.

A bit disappointing that we’d have to wait even longer, but at least we’d have a date to look forward to.

I may have really liked the event personally, but that's because I'm a 3D platformer stan who's taste never moved on from the N64 and GCN.

Nintendo Directs are still fun and introduce me to things I didn't know I wanted sometimes, and it's always cool to see what Nintendo's talented teams are up to, even if the games aren't to my taste sometimes. There's always at least one fun thing about them.

To each their own, but I don't see the reason for negativity, especially when we already know Smash is guaranteed to show up. :drshrug:
My reply to Noipoi Noipoi aside, the original post was supposed to be a joke because historically directs tend to be more disappointing then not and the Internet tends to get mad no matter what they show.

And again, it’s hard to be optimistic about what they’re gonna show given past demonstrations. Smash? Cool. But it’s probably gonna be a disappointing pick. Donkey Kong? Cool. But Retro is probably not working on it so it can only be so good. Literally anything else? I mean what are the odds of them actually doing something that would make me happy? Answer honestly.

Just saying. I left Hubworld with 9 new games to play and I typically leave Nintendo Directs with 1 at most and more often then not 0. It’s hard to get excited for Nintendo directs after something like that.

I could see it. It's a way to milk it more.

Which will just make me even happier this is ending because my word fighting game hype cycles (especially as drip fed as Smash) get old real quick.

EDIT: As others have said, though, I'm fine if they do it this way because I'm perfectly content seeing what things NIntendo has to show for other games, lol.

I do also see that coming, ngl.

Probably to keep up building the hype.

So I'm close to finishing Scarlet Nexus:

And it turns out you don't unlock a final chapter if you beat both Yuito's and Kasane's routes. So.............looks like I'll be jumping to another game then. Gonna keep to my girl Arashi til Arise comes out.

Water is wet.

Not with that attitude you won’t.
I love your optimism my friend but I'll worry about very close relationships AFTER I have traveled. Everything I'm doing is for that or writing.

That's totally okay with me.

I just want the Direct to reveal some more cool Nintendo games. :drshrug:
Pretty much right now.

I just want something new from Monolith Soft or BOTW 2 right now. Smash can wait.

Besides, who cares about Smash: Monkey Ball is coming out soon. 👀
The real ****in news right now!

We need our monke game!

I will never forgive myself for seeing the monkey ball announcement and thinking it was DK. I saw bananas and I lost it.

I just want the monke game made by the Galaxy team it sounds so good
I want a new Donkey Kong Country or 3D Donkey Kong too.

Alongside a remake of Donkey Kong 94 in 2.5D, but that one isn't happening.

As someone who's only experience with the series has been Banana Blitz back on the Wii, I'm super excited to finally play some real Monkey Ball and see what I've been missing out on for all these years.
Monkey Billiards and Monkey Target with friends/family is a magical experience.

The main game is also super fun.

And it has Kazuma Kiryu, so now it's extra based.

Real talk tho:

Even if that happens, we'd for sure get the character first week of October at the absolute latest.

I do not for a second think the character isn't already 90% ready to go gold with how long they've had to work on it plus reference times for other releases.
See what you don’t know is this character has one of those gimmicks where they have to rework every stage for it to work. And they won’t be done till December.

30th.

It is a good series dude.

Might look all the same on the surface but it is one of the best from Sega.

Now we just need a level creator in it.

I'm betting mid-September dude. And maybe a Smash Ultimate+DLC package thing to go with the Switch redesign release announced with it.

I feel like everything's lining up nicely for a XC3 reveal between all the updates from Monolith and rumors that have been circulating. Would easily make the whole Direct for me if we get it.
Honest to god my friend.

It'd be one of the few series I would so go out of my way to play it. The more JRPG's I can feel immersed in the better.

Already getting a bit depressed about reaching the end of Scarlet Nexus as it is.
