Regarding the post-credits where Weasel turns out to be alive.

They shoul;d make that into a gif or meme "Nope! Nope! Nope! Nope!" or "F This S! I'm out!

Especially given the way Weasel just runs into the jungle. xD

You kidding me?

Breath of the Wild’s whole design philosophy is a result of fans not liking the overly linear approach of Skyward Sword.

And after a slew of New Super games and 3D Land/World, fans wanted another sandbox Mario. And thus, Odyssey.
Have you listened to did you know gaming or read the developer interviews? I remember with odyssey specifically they talked about getting to the sandbox concept organically instead of just “the fans wanted it so we did it”.

I mean

That doesn't mean they didn't have fan feedback in mind when making the game.

Yeah, they’re not mutually exclusive.

You can come up with an idea on your own, see the fans also want something like that idea, and incorporate those wants into your game.
Not to mention every single Zelda since Aonuma took over is basically made to directly address the biggest problems fans had with the previous release.

I thought he was from Fates, not Thracia :4wario2:
What are you talking about, that's not Binding Blade. :4pacman:

All.jokes aside, I heard Birthright was actually the worst of the two and conquest was actually good.

i didnt buy birthright anyway because everyone in that game, minus Subaki, i didnt like
and Conquest had Niles and Leo and Xander soooo...
That's about right gameplay-wise, with Revelation at the bottom if you include it.

Story-wise, the first two are switched, and Revelation is still at the bottom.

Except Skyward Sword, for some reason they doubled down on a criticism people had for TP until the HD port
Nah, I think it was more that they listened to the parts of the fandom that were upset at how big TP's map was rather than the part that was tired with the OoT formula.

And it backfired because OG Skyward doubled down on both the Wii's flaws and OoT formula's flaws.

I think that’s giving them way to much credit. They still did what they always do, make whatever they want regardless of fan feedback. It’s just this time they happened to get lucky and do something fans wanted by accident

That's completely disregarding how they specifically mentioned how popular sandbox Mario was.

Well I think you’re being too black and white about this, when the true answer is most likely somewhere in the middle.
