Oh and yesterday I caught a Shiny :142: from a random den online. Could be a hack but it looks legit enough. No beneficial nature nor flawless stats. Decided to keep it cause I got it in a Luxury Ball. And honestly, nobody ****ing cares anymore. :V

Like Nintendo actually listens to what fans say.
TBH they actually have taken feedback and fan ideas before. Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey had a lot of roots in fan feedback to previous entries.

The narrative "They never listen to anything" is more from the Paper Mario community, and it's a bit of a fallacy.

Pokémon fans and Paper Mario fans must fight to determine who is the most chaotic Nintendo fanbase.

Everyone talking about BotW and Mario Odyssey, and nobody has brought up Metroid Dread or the western localization of Famicom Detective Club as examples of Nintendo checking on fan feedback.

There's no way the latter would have happened if there was no fan interest on It.

DK64 is a game I really love, but it’s also a game I will probably never play again unless it gets fixed up in a remake.

Honestly, if the developer interviews are anything to go by, they kind of just accidentally stumbled into what the fans wanted while still doing what they always do.

Smash is different because they literally asked us and Sakurai is a god. But the rest. Nah.

You kidding me?

Breath of the Wild’s whole design philosophy is a result of fans not liking the overly linear approach of Skyward Sword.

And after a slew of New Super games and 3D Land/World, fans wanted another sandbox Mario. And thus, Odyssey.

With Paper Mario it was a decision by high up people that they couldn't add new characters that weren't from the Mario universe. So the Origami King developers kind of found ways to work around those rules by having things like a Bob-bomb called Bob-bomb but Olivia can't remember that and calls him Bobby by accident. Then they added origami characters and office supplies which I guess technically gets around the rule somehow.
If they had a good RPG battle system I might have gotten into it but they certainly didn't listen to fans there and just had stupid grid puzzles. Origami King ended up one more sign that the Paper Mario we knew with PM and TTYD died with Sticker Star.

This will never not be funny to me.

The absolute hoops they had to jump through to give a character a name.

It’s really…

Well it’s a little sad actually. But still funny.
