My brother lives with him and apparently he's going through a lot of stress, and he also has depression. He says when my dad gets stressed he takes things more personally as if they are actual attacks on him. I don't really know how to deal with a family member with depression since I have it as well,

Finally watched the first episode of Rise of the Wisps.

It was OK but I don't see why they're going with "Sonic is so much of an asshole that he won't listen to someone's crying plea unless there are dinosaurs in it" angle. I guess they're trying to channel his Colors personality but it felt a little too much for me.

Well, it's 7:37am and the day is building up to be a really calm and peaceful one.

Could take the chance to get a shower, put on some clothes and go out to check on new dresses and such around second hand clothing stores (as someone on a Metroid Discord server suggested me as a cheaper and more ecological alternative).
Who knows? Maybe I find something cool and fitting for me for less than 10€.

Yeaah, looking at this reddit post & this video, plus stuff like the Metroid Manga never being officialy translated despite it being quite important to the lore (Zero Mission reference it, so I think it's somewhat canon???), the Metroid series as alot more problems with it's localization than one might think at first glance.

Whatever story we get in Dread, I hope the localization won't confuse peoples even more on key plot points.

Honestly, working as a ride operator has opened my eyes to just how hard it is to keep all the attractions running at all times during the day.

Most of our crew at Holiday World are school age kids, so now that most of them are back in school, we’ve had to selectively close rides at specific points of the day just to make sure everyone has a chance to ride every ride at least once(for example, The Revolution has been closing at 1:30 pm, and then the operator there opens up Eagle’s Flight for the rest of the day.)

It probably doesn’t help that we’re one of the few parks that rotates operators throughout the day, and we can’t just switch by ourselves, we need to have another person take our spot before we can. I remember my first day on the job was hell, because I was stuck on Eagle’s Flight for the entire 9-hour shift with only 2 legally required breaks to save me(and I didn’t know I could ask to go to the bathroom via phone yet.)
