I'm really trying to get into SMT3, I am, but after being lost for the third time with no ****ing direction on where I'm even supposed to go, I'm surprised people can play this game. I'll just be in Ginza roaming around for eternity, I guess. :slime:
Usually, the game's pretty good to give you directions, or at least areas to go to, after each story beat. If you haven't found the Manikin village yet, leave Ginza, cross the first bridge (but don't go onto the highway) and head south. If you need to find the thousand yen bill, one of the entrances to Ginza (I want to say it's the north-most one) takes you to the back room, where Loki's stuff is stored. (including that bill)

Is being a legacy character even that much of a selling point? I mean, yeah, it’s neat, but whether the character is a legacy addition or not doesn’t do much for me personally. I’d rather focus on the quality of the fighter itself.
Remember when Banjo was the best character ever as a legacy character right when it was announced, and then when Banjo was released his optimal playstyle was spamming grenades and using invincible side-B's and nobody plays Banjo now? That itself should prove that a good moveset beats a legacy character. I fear that if Geno was announced, no moveset could ever life up to the hype generated.

Getting really annoyed with the lack of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl news now.
If there’s no type of Pokémon news drop this week, then I dunno what they’re doing.

Having virtually no info from February to June isn’t new, but getting to the end of June with still no info? That’s concerning.

I've obviously found the hideout, but I'm refused entry past one door I need to go through. I assume I need money to bribe the guy, but I've never gotten any dialogue that said "man i want money". I just thought getting in his room was just some bonus or something, not a pivotal plot point.

Well it was a fun day.

Cycled 20 miles with the sun in deadly laser mode all the way to the hospital to get a tube down into my stomach. Funky as hell of a feeling but I'm fine though they found a bit of issue with a muscle though.

Then got all the way to the train station cause I'm too tired to cycle back only for the train to be delayed cause some group of kids were kicking the ball on the tracks.

Got home, have ate, have slept and now getting a can of cold coffee in me. Time to work on my new story synopsis.

Agreed. And don't get me wrong, being a legacy character can absolutely be a great thing, but the next character not being a legacy character isn't gonna make me flip my **** or anything. I don’t see it as much more than a neat little label.

Would be nice. Not applicable to what I’m doing now though. I’m trying to figure out who the most popular Bloody Roar character is.
For most picked tournament choice or just in general? If I recall in general, it's probably Nagi, Uriko, and Uranus. Tournaments? It varies, but from the most picked characters from memory, were the Long brothers, by a little of course.

Wait, nobody plays Banjo? I use him all the time! I love his kit.

Please don’t take him away from me. Please competitive players, don’t assert your dominance over fun here.

I play a lotta Banjo, but I know that’s an unpopular stance I suppose.

Yeah. I was going in general. The character who people would really want as a guest in another game. “Yeah, Yugo’s the mascot but X would be hype as ****!”.

I dunno what it is about this one specific Hero monster, but I really like the art on this guy:

If there is one word that's been cringed the hell out of in recent years (like 15 years) it's the word gang.

Just a really weird shower-thought from me.

If that's not gonna be one of Kazuya's victory screens, I'm demanding a refund.
Early Tekken cutscenes were beautiful. Like King and his badly cropped green-screened kids.
Haven't seen you around in a while Taigiry. How are you?

Definitely. He was my favorite from the start when I first played Bloody Roar in 1998 or 1999. Hans The Fox, Nagi, and Shina were my other favorites. A very nice cast in total overall. They need to bring this back, but Konami probably won't budge for us.

Banjo is definitely a lot "tamer" compared to some of the other crazy stuff characters like Hero and Steve can do, but he isn't poorly designed by any means. He's a blast to play, in my opinion.

There's a Manikin who collects things - he has a bunch of garbage outside of his door. Talking to him has him say he'll get that door open if you get him a 1000 Yen bill, since human money's hard to come by.

There are three entrances to Ginza from the overworld - one of them (the northmost one) will take you to the bar's back room where that bill is, though you need to fight a miniboss first.

In general, if you're not sure, talk to whatever NPCs you can find, and they'll point you in the right direction.

Ah yeah, I took a fairly long break from here, but have decided to become more active again. But I'm doing fine, except for this summer heat, thanks for asking. What about you?
A lot of **** going on and then some. Been dealing with the heat as well.

It's been a while, so glad to see you around again. It's always nice talking to you.

Noipoi Noipoi I finally did it.

Eggman is in my Miitopia party.

But with a twist...

There was a problem fetching the tweet

My headcanon is that he hit is head somewhere along the way and has Mr. Tinkerer-style amnesia.

After the "Dark Lord" goes down, he'll be reclassed to tank to take over for Pekora, and he'll be called Eggman again 'cause he'll get his memories back at that point.

Banjo, to me, feels like a SSB64/Melee character with how simple he is compared to a lot of Brawl+ newcomers, and I appreciate it. A simple character can be fun to use, too, not everyone needs to have a complex gimmick. Also I think the fact Banjo feels so much more simpler does suit him pretty well, he really feels like a character that has been around since his glory days on the 64, even though that's obviously not the case.

Well, whatever it is, good luck with what's going on and take care.

So the claim that Konami sent a cease and desist against a Project M Bomberman mod was nothing more than a prank.

That's a relief.
I figured somethin was up with that.

Mainly because I could not for the life of me think of any reason for Konami to care about such a thing existing.

The fact that I listen to music from anime like this while biking proves that I am a living paradox.

Also Gabriel Dropout and Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid are probably the two anime I've watched way more than expected. Like five times each despite them both being simply ok anime.
