Here's what I'd do:
1. Avoid basically everything that could spoil it. So don't use Social Media, even this site could be dangerous waters as the support thread for a character could change to say something like "WE DID IT".
2. If you can change Youtube to have Theater Mode when you boot it up try that. Thumbnails and video titles are almost guaranteed to spoil something.
3. If you can copy the stream link, try and put it on a document. Chances are the link will take you to the final uploaded version.
4. Enjoy!

added note for tip #2, there are extensions that remove the recommended bar from the side of the video. here's one of the ones i found

That... is a great idea.

My plan is during my break to only look up TVTropes pages of things guaranteed not to get into Smash. So basically I'll be memorizing... The Scooby Doo Show page inside and out.

inb4 The Scooby Doo Show has a presence in Smash, ruining my plan.

Yeah this is the first Nintendo E3 I won't be around for since 2010... That's so wild to me. It just so happened that my new job orientation start date ended up falling on the 14th so getting off on the 15th is not gonna happen. I got a friend who is gonna send me a direct link to the direct so I can watch it when I get off and not get spoiled. Set my phone onto do not disturb and everything and will likely go Radio Silent starting Saturday. Also plan on opening an E3 Direct around Friday as well for everyone to discuss everything.

I'm honestly probably not gonna care too much about the stuff that happens this year. the only thing I'm really interested in this E3 is A)if Nintendo is going to show BOTW2 stuff and B) who the next fighter is.


I feel that's not a very tall order, long as I get that, I'm content.

I just need Metroid. Metroid Prime 4 or whatever the hell Mercury Steam was working on. They were rumored to be either making Super Metroid Remake or Metroid 5 and I'm down for either.
