One thing to keep in mind about Nintendo's Direct this year is the circumstances behind why they always did it when they did it in the past.

In past events, E3 conferences happen before the event itself starts because the event is at a physical location with booths and demo kiosks. Can't really reveal things properly if everyone can just walk in on the show floor and see everything that's gonna get announced early, no?

Nintendo's MO was always to go before the event started because of this, especially when the stream would lead in to Tree House Live. With E3 being a Digital event this year, however, the field's changed: The conferences are no longer the lead up to the event, they are the event, and as such, I don't think using previous instances for predicting air dates for these streams can really apply. This E3 is gonna be a way different beast than the one we're used to, and depending on how well it works, could be what we see in the years to follow.

Basically, I wouldn't overthink the airdate: It's gonna be somewhere in-between the 12th and the 15th. Anything earlier or later, and it isn't in the event's scheduling anymore, which wouldn't work if Nintendo is, as we've already seen, scheduled for the event as a major headliner.
Just sharing what I posted in the Speculation Thread just now about the Direct air date.

TL;DR: I think we've been overthinking it a tad: It'll be during the event itself, they'll announce it like a normal Direct, and that's about that IMO. :nifty:

y'know what? i want to start a horrible dumpster fire that temporarily ruins the thread

what were y'all's childhood crush characters?
My first fictional crush was May from Pokemon. I just got into Pokemon at the time, and I just found May to be realy attractive for some reason.

And then I found Brawl's website where I found my second childhood crush: Zero Suit Samus.

Reggie Rocket from Rocket Power
May from the Pokémon anime
Gadget Hackwrench from Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers

In my mid-teens I was also more invested than I should have been in Izzy from Total Drama and most female characters from Danny Phantom.

Tbh, the crap you guys do now doesn't even phase me anymore. At this point you all can make a blood suicide pact or sacrifice Ramen to chuthulu or some ****, and I'll be like "yup, that's a thing that's happening now"
Potato, come on man, it's not nice to generalize. We don't do blood sacrifices to Cthulhu.

We do them to Nyarlathotep instead.

Katara’s a girl you can take home to your mom, I can respect it.
Well not anymore, she's way too young in one series and way too old in the sequel series.

Korra, however, is the same deal as Katara except she's as tall as I am and can physically kick my ass without water bending at all, and that's what I like.
