I’m literally being paid to do nothing right now lol.

Half of the time my ride is operating, people are training on it.

If there’s any other suggestions I can think of, I’ll let you know
Sounds good sounds good. I took a listen to your suggestions, and yeah, these are great! I’ll be using these. Not 100% sure about Challo just yet though, so I’m gonna keep searching for some voices that could fit him.

Following up on that, is The Legend of Korra worth watching after I finish ATLA?

I know it was popular back in it's own time, but in the years since it ended I've largely seen it's reception being more divisive than it's predecessor.

Is it worth watching whether it's as a follow-up or on it's own merit?
This is a little tough to say. Personally I like the show, but I feel a lot of its strongest points are in the latter half of the series as the first season is mostly OK with some good moments and characters carrying it, but the second season is really rough to run through. Once you clear that hurdle it starts to get its footing and really shine, but getting there is something that not every viewer is going to be up for. So what I'd say is give the first season a try and see if anything grabs you from it as I do feel the third and fourth season are ultimately worth it, but if it doesn't do too much for you then there's nothing wrong in stopping there.

What’s Challo like?
He’s polite and friendly, albeit a bit shy and reserved. He’s also a pretty calm person who seeks peace, and seeks to help others, I’d say. Still, he’s brave, and he’s more than willing to fight to protect others. He has a bit of a higher pitched male voice, though I could see him being portrayed by an actress too.

Still haven't seen Re:Zero. I really need to get on that someday.

I did just watch the first episode of 86: Eighty Six, a new mecha anime from A1 Pictures since it's another seasonal with a low episode count of 11. The production values are pretty nice even if the mech sequences are almost entirely CGI from what I've seen so far, but it seems promising.
And I just watched the second episode of Vivy and man it is very dark but you want to keep going. Reminds me of a mixture between Transistor, Re:Zero, Detroit Become Human and funnily enough To Your Eternity so I'm impressed to hell.

86 looks ok but mecha anime aren't my thing. I will try Nagotoro though.

Lastly dude you are like the one of the most chill people I can talk about anime with. Everyone IRL who knows anime either recommends me borderline.........you know or is very defensive and is "hurr durr **** slice of life anime". One of my friends is ok though.

Haha, thanks man. You've actually played a part in getting me to branch out a bit with my anime tastes and look deeper into genres like slice of life and comedy.

Well, I've gotten around testing the waters with my Universal Arcade Stick F500 Elite with Smash Ultimate. My impression is that I feel as though I'm more in control of the character as if I'm one and complete with them as with traditional fighting games. My movements, spacing, zoning, and execution with a bunch of characters is where it should be. Ryu, Ken, and Terry's movelist controller motion commands, are more in shift response than the pad for me. My pad experiences with fighting games met it's limit ages ago, but it's all preference at the very end.

And you've given a bit more interest into stuff like Mecha and got me round to getting interested in watching stuff like Cowboy Bebop, Kill a Kill and FMA. The final two still need to but hey.

I still find it funny how this was my entry point into anime:

But this is practically my favourite of all time:

My long disowned friend who introduced me thought "I'll make him into an overloving harem ****** lover with fanservice" but he failed I tell you! Failed! I'm a slice of life wholesome anime lover with some smart anime to boot.

Creepy prick watched stuff like Monster Musume and High School DxD in front of people far younger than him. No wonder why is in trouble.

Yeah I make sure I'm careful at what anime to watch in public.

Most of my favourites is fine but I still remember watching Konosuba in an outdoor adventure park and some kid was staring at me in horror.

Or today when I was reading Girls Last Tour manga (literally post-apocalyptic happy end of the world Laid Back Camp cosiness) and some kids were harassing me. Told them to piss off.

I love being an anime fan sometimes.
