I had a dream last night about Fighters Pass 2, which is weird since I rarely have dreams that I can specifically remember. Oddly enough, it wasn't even one that I'd like - it seemed like one of the most underwhelming results that I could imagine. (though definitely not the worst result)
It started off with them saying that, due to COVID messing with the release schedule, they'd reveal the rest of the Fighters Pass right away. The first reveal was Riki from Xenoblade - while Riki's great (one of my favourite playable characters in the original games, and the best playable Nopon in the series from what I've seen), I don't think I'd put him in my top five most wanted Xenoblade characters for Smash, and if we only got one assist trophy, I don't think he'd be the first pick that people would want to see.
After that, it was a green haired male Fire Emblem character with a sword - I'm not sure if it was Sothe or Alm (I had to Google "green haired Fire Emblem thief" when I woke up, since I only knew Sothe by description), but I think it was a mix between the two (he had green armour and a long white scarf). Either way, it wasn't someone from a Fire Emblem game that I had played. (I've only played Awakening, the Black Eagles route of Three Houses, and half of the Birthright route in Fates)
The third character was a Koopa Troopa - not a combination of several types of Koopa Troopas, like Piranha Plant, but just an ordinary Koopa Troopa.
Last, they said that there was going to be a new Zelda character, but the character in question was
Fado, the Kokiri from Wind Waker. (who was treated like a Toon Link rework, since he had the Deku Leaf, the Skull Hammer, and some other items that Link gets in the Wind Waker)
Mii costumes were also shown in my dream, but the only ones that I remember were two Strider costumes (Hiryu and Hien, to tie in with ports of Strider 1 and 2 coming to the Switch - no idea why these two came to mind, since I only vaguely knew who Hien was) and Amaterasu from Okami (though it was like the Minecraft Pig costume, where the Mii was standing upright and wearing a hat that looks like Ammy's head).
I have no idea why I dreamed that, or why it was so specific, but I figured I'd throw it out there in case Riki winds up being our only assist trophy promotion or some other element of this somehow happens.
