I'm using a site called Piskel. Free to use, and it saves things to your Google account so no sign up is really necessary.

Now, I doubt it's the best software for pixel arr, but it gets the job done and I am a broke college kid.

As a broke pre-college kid I’ll be sure to check it out.

One think I don't like about it is that by default the canvas is tiny, and imporring it to projects is a bit of a hassle as you gotta tinker around with the resolution and resizing.

God they should have drafted Dana into the Ghostbusters. If not for the films at the very least for the cartoon. That's something 80s cartoons did all the time. Shoehorning a girl into the main team for the sake of toys. Would have been a better justification for her showing up constantly in the supplementary material sense.

Personal pet peeve in games, when the boss fight involves fighting two characters at once and you have to kill both of them at once otherwise one will revive the other.

If you're interested in free programs for spriting, I've been spriting in Gimp for years and it works well. Krita ain't a bad option either.
