Yep. I mean, it shouldn't be as funny as it sounds, but at the same time, it just really goes to show why you should "do your research first" instead of making assumptions and getting angry first.

What got Twitter started was that when this Manga was announced and shown, Twitter was confused on why the character was not black when her belly and legs are black, but her head was white, unaware that her black skin is really just body stockings. Two artists then proceeded to fix it by changing her head color to black like her belly and legs and Twitter started to celebrate.

But the thing is, they did not do any of their research on what the manga was called and whatnot and it was soon found out that the title of the manga was "Slave Harem in the Labyrinth in the Other World". In other words, the manga was an Isekei Harem manga and the character portrayed is supposedly a sex slave and is supposedly 16 years old(although she is a different race. She is a dwarf apparently and supposedly she might be near the end of her lifespan.)

Basically, Twitter did no research, complained "REPRESENTATION!", got her art "fixed", Twitter cheers, than finds out they made an underage sex slave a black person. Apparently, one of the artists deleated their account and the other has protected their tweets.

This is gonna sound extremely corny, but for me, one of the big ones is Haruka from Senran Kagura.

Do not be fooled by that face, this lady is damn scary when you first meet her in game. She's a gifted chessmaster, manipulating people all over to do her bidding, from brainwashing some shmucks to fight for her to utterly breaking the spirit of her in-game rival in order to acquire a plot device. She essentially sees her enemies as nothing more than dolls to control and toy with, which actually spawns from her mother having treated her exactly that way while she was growing up. She definitely got better as time went on, but the moment she showed up, I knew the series would have a much darker side to it, and frankly, I love (and still fear) her for it.
