It means nothing. Daisy is a Peach Alt color and her Hair/Crown are a Mii hat. I'm sure we've all already made Daisy Miis with Brawler Shot Puts as substitute Super Balls.
Your comment reminds me of something. Michaeloll's pretty ballsy for insulting the Splatoon fanbase while defending Daisy. That's a pretty bold move on his part.

People STILL want Chrom even when we're already getting Roy as a fifth Fire Emblem character? Ha that's ritch and I don't think the series deserve anymore after Roy as a Fire Emblem fan.

You read my mind. Already have a Daisy Brawler Mii with Shot put. And regarding Daisy as a Peach Alt color, I believe that she'll still get in because, Mario also has a Wario Alt color, and look what they did with Wario.
Don't let those haters bother you, man. They're too close-minded to know what they're talking about. Daisy has the strongest, and most lively personality out of all three of the Mario gals, and actually has a great foundation of her persona to pass off as a main stream character.
Those were some though arguments my dear friend, especially the relevance part since this argument had been applied to MANY characters before pre-speculation. It's arguably null and void since we have Jigglypuff (a reoccurring veteran who was barely used in the Pokemon anime these days). The only true argument that justifies her inclusion is because she represents a new type introduced in the 6th generation.

Because they will totally not add a new Mario character that was an important NPC in Galaxy and its successor, had minigames in WiiU's biggest Mario game, and has his own game on the WiiU and has a good amount of ballot support?
Sorry to break it to you, but I doubt Nintendo would add more characters of a series that only RECENTLY went outside of Japan (while starting in Japan in the NES years). Besides, a lot of series are more important and/or loved (seriously, Roy and Lucina are enough for me. Daraen/Robin is only fun to play. And Marth and Ike were in the previous games so it's basically enough)
About the "There's choices": You forgot Medusa (already have a lot of fans) and Viridi (her fandom is slowly growing).
I agree on the Krystal part. Dixie... not so much, but I would prefer her over K Rool (as a new Donkey Kong representative).
Well the main advantage that Mario DLC would have is that the character would be instantly recognisable, which is very important for paid content. Although, I'm not sure how many people would be willing to pay for a character that is as infamous as Daisy.....I think Dixie has a decent chance even if K. Rool happens, if any franchise has a chance of getting 2 DLC characters, it's DK.
Krystal is unlikely, due to Wolf.
Inklings have taken a hit.
Impa is hard to say.
I don't think just being female is a good reason to include someone, but of the few female applicants we have, I think it's Dixie > Impa >= Daisy >> everyone else.
I don't really have hope for a Mario DLC, even if I would love it - not after the Mario representation practically doubled, and Bowser Jr became a fanservice package.
Same reason why I don't have hope in a Rhythm Heaven character because the Gematsu Leak had tarnished its reputation and the more hardcore Smash fans wouldn't want to buy them.
Actually, Daisy would be very easily recognized, considering she appeared IN EVERY MARIO SPIN-OFF GAME SINCE MARIO PARTY 3 or 4 (I can't exactly remember).
Except Smash Bros.

Well we can all say that she's a bigger shoo-in than Shovel Knight and Banjo Kazooie. And yes, I'm implying that a first party character from one of Nintendo's bigger series has a better chance than a recent indie character and Microsoft's poor man's Rare mascot.Other than as trophies, of course.

If we count normal posts, it would be slightly higher than Waluigi. But if we count Rule 34, it's sadly more by a massive margin.
