Am I the only one that finds it ironic that Daisy is all about flowers and well, daisies, yet she rules a desert?

Moving on from absolute irony at its worst, has anyone else seen the supposed leak for Smash DLC? The picture of the character has me kind of iffy, but everything else seems spot on. If it is real, the character doesn't surprise me at all.

I'm pretty sure there are flowers in some deserts, and not all deserts are sand based, fyi, so some could have forestation to some degree.

And yes, it is. And also, something from Nintendo about copyrighting Rool's name also seem to have happened recently, although it's not related to the "leak" but it's also something some people aren't convincing that it has something to do with the possibility of his inclusion as DLC either.

More like since the ballot is nearly coming to a close, Nintendo may be "tieing loose ends" with certain characters ahead of time for those that seem the most likely to be selected as DLC by the numbers. I think if there's anymore pre ballot characters, only Wolf and unlikely, but possibly Snake would be those characters at this point.

I think if there's anymore pre ballot characters, only Wolf and unlikely, but possibly Snake would be those characters at this point.

That wasn't a victory screen. That was the thing they show when you first see a new character in a trailer. Like, Shrek wrecks the competition. (Let's just hope THAT doesn't happen)

Nintendo should know by now that we want better representation of characters who don't get enough spotlight. Like Toad, for example. And look what happened with him.

If you look closely at the model, it has notable "seams" on it, like what you'd see from a lower quality 3D model would look like not polished.

Trust me, working with 3D models myself, I can tell when something isn't high quality, and a playable KKR would never look that poorly done if that was his playable form, period.

And people will do whatever just to get publicity by any means necessary just to get that "5 mins of fame". It's sad, but it is what it is.

Yeah. It always weirded me out how Daisy has been made with such a developed personality yet hasn't made it into a mainline game yet.

I respect your opinion, but Luigi x Daisy is far from uninspiring, heck some of the parents of my friends and even a few of my relatives, work out in the exact fashion as Luigi x Daisy, there is a reason Nintendo, even if they leave Daisy for spin-offs only(I hope its only for now), they don't have any plans of having Luigi end up with anybody else, this just my opinion and I am not looking to hurt or offend you in any way, if that's what you ship, then alright, nobody has to hate or bash you for it, that would be childish and stupid, but ask yourself this: Nintendo has been with this pairing since 1991, do you really think they'd throw away the foundation of this fan favorite?

Which, btw, is why I'm glad Goku isn't as OP as Superman is, otherwise he'd be too bored to ever care about, and since I grew up with the series, I'm happy of that.

I was recently told how Daisy's redesign was based on another character from Mario Golf. I had no idea, but check this out (for those who didn't know already):
From her debut in 1989 to Super Smash Bros. Melee in 2001, Daisy looked like this:

Towards the end of this period, in 1999, Mario Golf for the N64 marked the debut of Azalea:

Azalea appears to be a tribute to Daisy, what with her physical appearance, being champion of the Dunes course, oh and the fact that in Hebrew, Azalea means "Flower" and in Greek Azalea means "Dry". But notice her shoulder-length, flipped back hair, a fairer complexion, and the use two shades of orange in her clothing, because these were incorporated in Daisy's redesign beginning with Mario Party 4 in 2002:

So what about Azalea, who hasn't appeared since 2004? Since Azalea never appeared in a game alongside Daisy, could they be the same person? Perhaps Daisy went by a different alias during a phase? Or is Azalea Daisy's long-lost sister (apparently Daisy and Peach are cousins)?
Or else if you don't believe in internal consistencies than it can just be noted that the two characters merged. ​

Typing new links inside of images are fairly simple if you follow these steps closely. Back then, it was another question I had until when somebody would teach me a trick to do so easily.

You would highlight the image after going to the Signature part of your profile and drag it over your entire image until it's blue (or whatever the color of the cursor's highlighter is. Then you click the Link Icon in the above inventory (it should look like a paperclip) and it should allow your link to be put in the highlighted image. Press OK after you paste the link in the box and save.

The example below should give you an example of how it actually works.
