And continuing on that Daisy-centric note, it's worth pointing out that the Collectible Badge Centre service (the Japanese version of Nintendo Badge Arcade) will be ending on May 26th. Whilst nothing has been said about the North American and European versions of the Nintendo Badge Arcade service ending at this time, the fact that this was apparently down to space issues does show that the Western versions will cease operating at some point.

A number of Daisy badges have been issued on the service (I don't know if I have all of them - I haven't played in a while - but the image above shows some of them). Considering the above, if you still don't have any of them yet and want your 3DS' Home Menu adorned with them, it'd be best to start watching out for re-runs of the sets that they appeared in. A gallery showing a very large number of the badges that have been issued on the service can be viewed here, so that you can see where Daisy has appeared, and aim for those badges if or when they're re-run again.

If only I had a 3DS...... I could also enjoy these stickers there as well. At least with this show some recognition to her character in my opinion.

The Badge Arcade is ending? That sucks, I visit it every single day for those free plays. It was such an easy way to tell how popular Isabelle, Ashley, and Nikki were too, as they popped up in tons of crossover badges.

Only the Japanese version, for now. I just figured that it was worth a heads-up because it shows that the Western one will also end at some point.

Ah, thankyou! That makes sense - I stopped playing before the Super Mario Maker Daisy was added.

EDIT: We have an update on this. Apparently, the game will remain playable, but no new badges will be added, and rare badges will be re-run. It looks like there'll actually be even more chances to get what you missed, now!

Good to hear actually, I was getting tired of having what I thought was a complete collection of Peach, Daisy and Rosalina only for more to come out.

In that case, there needs to be a rerun on the Pokemon and Yo-Kai Watch stickers.

That would be the perfect post-graduation gift for me.

And maybe a few more good Daisy stickers.

The character is actually well balanced and shouldn't do too bad in a fight.

It's not like it can prove much since it's based on the idea of her fighting with spinoffs material (aka what most fans say).

Granted this is more for a traditional 2D fighter as opposed to Smash.

I would love to see the flower effect in some if her moves, even if it would only happen occasionally, because if all her moves had this, it would just make her broken.

I know. I was joking.

I was surprised to see that Daisy's sprites weren't also based on Kart Fighter, especially considering that Peach's are already edited from the (pirate-)original.

It's still bizarre to think that a bootleg game was doing some of what Smash would later do about five or six years before Smash even existed.

There's a particularly good reason I didn't post the Daisy vs Peach fight here. Hint: It's the reason why Smash 4 had gotten a black void to begin with.

I'm not sure that you'll be able to get one definitive answer here, because there are a number of things that fit her well.

Personally, I would opt for leveraging the Sky Pop in some form, as a nod to Daisy's origins, but I'm sure that just as many, if not more, would opt for something else which fits her equally well to represent her modern-day appearances in the various spin-offs, instead.

If Sakurai can make it possible, then do it. Other than that, one of the two would suffice. Megastrike and Sky Pop are the biggest Final Smash options for Daisy to use. Unless we were to bring Tatanga into this as a guest start that fly's around shoot others. Or even a Mario Party based one that ****s everyone over easily (Hey, it ruins friendships after all).

Unless you want to see a fat shirtless Wario as a merperson.

I was thinking something like a super Crystal Smash would fit her. Btw, I just noticed that Daisy appears on the Mario Pack of Minecraft Switch Edition, I have to admit that I didn't think we see her there seeing as she is not a "main stream" character.

Minecraft was the same game also has you play as Birdo, Petey Piranha and Paratroopa. It's not really a big surprise and even some fans said the "roster" was better than Mario Kart 8's at the time.

Crystal Smash can be a reasonable Final Smash if it can't fit anywhere else as a special. It was considered a "special move" for Strikers after all.

On the subject of Daisy's FS as a whole I like the way she summoned Sarasaland enemies in that MUGEN video, so maybe she could have a similar FS to Pit's old one but summoning things like Bunbuns and such across the screen. The plane also works but ehhhh I'm not entirely sure it suits her like the Superball does.

Now that's something I can agree with. And it's not because of the Daisy Hunt inside joke that I've started. It can be original at least since Palutena's Army is no longer a thing anymore. That's an aspect that I liked about her MUGEN character.

The fly taunt definitely needs to happen. It's too good of an Easter Egg to ignore.

Nah, then it would be a rip off the "Protect Peach" mission from Melee.

It's got to be something different and more unique. How about you fight an army of strong Fake Daisies to reference the ones at the end of each level and say that Tatanga was behind it. That would be something new.
