Subcon is a dream world. Surrealism is OK and I think Daisy fits into the mold of an overshadowed misfit rogue.

Nabbit is an individual, not a species. He's just a weird purple rabbit thief it seems. Is Nabbit a guy or a species?
Because he'd be an excellent wario equivalent to Toad.
That said my wario equivalents to Peach are always going to be either Mona or Captain Syrup.
I'm pretty sure all the original characters in SMRPG are still owned by Square Enix, even Boshi despite being a member of the Yoshi species. Bit of an odd situation there, but that seems to be the case with SMRPG in general. Also, if Subcon becomes a warped dream world influenced by the actions of Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad then different levels can have aspects of those characters in their design.
Mouser can have a mushroom hat, Tryclyde could be a snake with three Peach heads and Hot Head can be a green flame with Luigi's face.
I think Wario, Waluigi and Daisy are all overshadowed by the other similar characters.
* Birdo can be replaced with Yoshi... or Boshi? Or does Square own him?
Did Espio have a particular "bad guy" role on his own at some point?Wario isn't necessarily a "bad guy". Neither are Espio, Proto-man, or Meta Knight. They just have unique motivations, which may or may not be the "good guy" thing to do. Daisy may have unique motivations, but I don't think it lines up very well with Wario's greed or Waluigi's stardom.
I'm pretty sure Espio was only ever an anti-hero at best (a shoehorned, poorly written one at that). Don't ever remember him being a villain, but I may be misremembering Heroes.I'm pretty sure all the original characters in SMRPG are still owned by Square Enix, even Boshi despite being a member of the Yoshi species. I actually played Heroes a lot more than I should have when I was younger, so I can confirm that Team Chaotix could pretty much be classified as "good guys" in Heroes. They're more so neutral as their entire story revolves around doing work for a mystery client, and they just happen to fight against Eggman's robots and the other teams along the way.I'm pretty sure Espio was only ever an anti-hero at best (a shoehorned, poorly written one at that). Ah I see, thanks. I guess I didn't remember them all that well after all.I actually played Heroes a lot more than I should have when I was younger, so I can confirm that Team Chaotix could pretty much be classified as "good guys" in Heroes. They are pretty much good guys though as they run a detective agency to help people, and usually help out the main heroes like Sonic. They just don't do much due to not showing up very often.
Four three man teams? That'd certainly be interesting though I'm not sure how it'd work for a Mario game. How would the teams even be broken up? PerhapsAh I see, thanks. I guess I didn't remember them all that well after all.
Speaking of heroes, what if Mario had a game like that? Then we wouldn't have to worry about any of these characters getting a playable appearance.
What about DK, Diddy and Dixie? then Wario, Waluigi, and Bowser/Nabbit?Four three man teams? That'd certainly be interesting though I'm not sure how it'd work for a Mario game. How would the teams even be broken up? Perhaps
Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi
Peach, Daisy, and Rosalina
Wario, Waluigi and - I'm not really sure on this one. Maybe Nabbit I suppose.
There are a lot possibilities for teams really. Maybe bring in DK and Diddy? Toad and Toadette?
Sounds good, though I switched a few around to:What about DK, Diddy and Dixie? then Wario, Waluigi, and Bowser/Nabbit?
A Waru-Peach would have looked either really bad scary or actually decent depending on how the face would have looked. In development of Mario Tennis there was a Waru-Peach (bad Peach) found in the files. I guess they figured it was better to use the pre-existing Daisy to not overdo the Wa- family.
The eyeshadow should be fine, but the nose and exaggerated ugliness would make her look terrifying.A Waru-Peach would have looked either really bad scary or actually decent depending on how the face would have looked.
Pointy ears and nose and perhaps that "cheaters" personality. The eyeshadow should be fine, but the nose and exaggerated ugliness would make her look terrifying.
Imagine a WaruDaisy...
Maybe some messy, spiky hair as well. Some sharp, harsher shapes to contrast the round ones that make up Peach and Daisy's hair styles. So something somewhat similar to what they did with Wario and Waluigi's mustaches compared to Mario and Luigi.Pointy ears and nose and perhaps that "cheaters" personality.
So, it'd be another application of the "Like Mario, but crudely drawn by someone who hates Mario" approach that was partly behind Wario's design?Maybe some messy, spiky hair as well. D: OH MY, I FORGOT HOW SCARY SHE LOOKS LIKE THAT!I imagine a Waru-Peach face to look similar to possessed Adeleine in Kirby 64
Though a Shadow Queen Peach look but with a pointy nose would also work really well.
Oh god.Tortilla Noggin We need the VOLATILE HOTDOG (xD Many are gonna be confused about this, so, if you could sum up the origin of the joke. please?)
:3 She's done.
All the Wario games are based on greed though, why do think he makes microgames? He's running the business for a quick buck as usual. Now, the issue with a Wario team game is that Nintendo hasn't really made a wario game centered on greed since Wario World. Nintendo I think really wants to push him into a different firection. In Alax's know your moves, he mentioned how Wario is more representative of his WarioWare games.
xD Good Old Times....Oh god.
Ok... The Volatile Hotdog to which Andrea refers is a joke from a social thread. It was a result of someone else posting that GIF above, and Andrea remarking that the hot dog was clearly deserving of a spot in Smash because of its obvious strength. Then I drew a stupid picture of it in the style of the Kirby series' art, and the rest was history.
On that note, maybe I should try drawing that Daisy-cosplayer Rabbid that was suggested earlier in the thread?
Ok, it's just a very quick piece, but here it is: The crossover that no-one wanted to see!:D I would love to see you giving that idea a shot! I was going to do it....but....I got busy with other stuff, besides, drawing the Rabbids isn't my forte like drawing Ray is in comparison!
xD I expected to see "DAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" in the background, BUT IT IS GREAT OVERALL! Awesome work, Tortilla!Ok, it's just a very quick piece, but here it is: The crossover that no-one wanted to see!
You can bet that all of the people who suggested the idea of a Daisy-cosplayer Rabbid are regretting it right about now!
I thought that that might be overdoing it, since DAAAAHsy just wanted to go with the "Flower Power" angle for the background.xD I expected to see "DAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" in the background, BUT IT IS GREAT OVERALL! Awesome work, Tortilla!
Christ, and I thought the female jumpsuit wearing rabbit from that E3 Raving Rabbids trailer was ugly.Ok, it's just a very quick piece, but here it is: The crossover that no-one wanted to see!

I didn't suggest it, but I sure as hell regret it anyway.Ok, it's just a very quick piece, but here it is: The crossover that no-one wanted to see!

Hey nice job! Btw, why can't I stop mentally playing "I'm sexy and I know it" when I am looking at this?Ok, it's just a very quick piece, but here it is: The crossover that no-one wanted to see!

xD Oh my God, now I can't mentally unhear and unsee the Rabbid Daisy dancing that!Hey nice job! Btw, why can't I stop mentally playing "I'm sexy and I know it" when I am looking at this?
Kill it with fire.Ok, it's just a very quick piece, but here it is: The crossover that no-one wanted to see!

Too much obvious of a line to that ignorr. If Daisy were in the game, her infamous line of "Hi I'm Daisy," better be there as a taunt.
I don't want it as a taunt, I want it for when you select her character. Everyone else has the announcer say there name, Daisy don't need that, she'll tell you herself. If Daisy were in the game, her infamous line of "Hi I'm Daisy," better be there as a taunt.
And knowing the Rabbids, this one's probably a guy.Christ, and I thought the female jumpsuit wearing rabbit from that E3 Raving Rabbids trailer was ugly.
I sincerely apologise. But you can thank/blame those who put the idea into my head.Kill it with fire.
No really, that thing will be haunting my dreams for a while.
With any luck, as AwesomeAussie27 says, it'll be too obvious of a line to ignore. If Daisy were in the game, her infamous line of "Hi I'm Daisy," better be there as a taunt.
xD He just wanted to feel PRETTY....and FABULOUS!And knowing the Rabbids, this one's probably a guy.
