and how old are you, i have a friend who visits brownsville frequently (hometown) not necessarily for smash, but just out of curiosity.

I'm 21, and yeah we are all basically fluent in Spanish and English. Yourself?

1st language is spanish, so yeah i speak spanish and english. I applied to Texas State, UTSA, UTPA, and Baylor.

But if i do get accepted to UTPA, i'm going solely cause you guys smash and speak spanish. Not to mention it's close to monterrey lolz.

but that there's UTSA and my smashers and my Spurs up there so idk.

Na, i have no business in the RGV, only when we pass when we're going to mexico and whatnot.

But we have to make some noise down here in the south, i hate the fact that majority of texas smash is buddy buddy, and that you guys get little to no recognition.

Houston or bust, once i hit 18 on March 8th, expect to see me at yalls tourneys more often.

Why not host a smashmex in reynosa. I am sure we can gaurantee some texas players to shw up from san antonio and maybe austin. If not smashmex then a big border tourney ask Davico, majoras.

I'll go to any Brawl tournament in the RGV / bordering towns with a few people.

They wont travel, SA won't. Austin wont, Houston deffinetly wont.


And none of my friends play brawl/melee. This is like my double life soooo yeahhhh.

a smashmex in reynosa would be amazing. but starting soon traveling to mexico will be much more of a hassle. we need another SMBU. or mikeys super amazing tourny idea of MOAST: On the Gulf Coast like at south padre island/ south padre island CC. i weekend of sand, sun, and smash. maybe rent r beach house or something. invite mexico and texas. its like my dream tourny. or any tourny were i would meet isai.

Houston Austin and San antonio might travel given the right motivation. Tourney in Mex would bringbmire people than a valley or Texas tourney. I have been a part :of the Texas smash scene for 6 years and know that some of the big names would travel. Remember it is easier for Americans to travel to Mex than vice versa.

I don't know. It's pretty easy for me to travel into the US. Not much of a problem in Matamoros.
