If Sakurai truly doesn't give Ridley a trailer before release, it would be such a wasted opportunity, but at this rate I just hope to see him playable on September 13, If they string him along til the wii u release, I don't think my mind can take it.

Its clearly an Aerodactyl costume
, seeing as it is the same color scheme of the body and the wings match. Ridley is not that pale, and Aerodactyl is. Ridley doesn't have that color canopies, Aerodactyl does. Not to mention when comparing Gen 1 pokemon a common comparison with Charizard is Aerodactyl. Move along.

I don't know. But it had so many images of so many things with new models that is is most likely part of it, just like that Bowser Jr and Shulk videos (both are not actual gameplay - they are part of the video since Shulk video then goes straight into Yoshi home-run contest - so, those images and videos are part of the leak/from same leaker).

I don't think we'll get a trailer for Ridley, maybe some kind of tease in the last newcomer trailer (if it happens). He'll probably be a secret character along with other villains, however I would be pleasantly surprised to see a reveal trailer for our purple space dragon!

Hope the proportions look alright despite being so HUGE! What can I say, I was having fun with it.
Also, wasn't it confirmed that all newcomers will get cutscenes available in-game? So even if it's not a reveal trailer....
Same guy, same bunch of pictures. What we don't know is if the guy took all pictures at once or if he kept unlocking things after taking the all star pic and then took a photo of the full roster.

Releasing Ridley before or after the Japanese release date if leaks didn't come from Japan wouldn't make much a differece.
They release 2 weeks apart, that's not that long.

I thought that was the guy who just leaked pictures of the video, and that he didn't have the actual game (hence the focus of the photos being stuff like gross things, demonic things, and uh, womanly parts, that the ESRB would have to look at in order to rate the game).
Unlikely. The Japanese market is Nintendo's main priority despite its declining relevancy. They will not withhold any content from a japanese game to avoid spoiling it for the overseas market.

That will be unfair for Japanese audience no matter what kind of characters are left for Western release. And for Western audience too. It is very unlikely anyway since Nintendo is so focused on Japan. And do you think that Japan will remain silent if Nintendo would delay their Shulk and other characters that were so requested in Japan? Or that we will remain silent if Ridley & co.'s fate will be revealed so late?

That would be really dumb and isn't consumer friendly at all. Customers don't want arbitrary timers on content that is already made and ready. It's only another two weeks or so until the western launch anyway.

I don't think leaker took them. Maybe its part of a video that was sent to those guys that rate stuff. It would explain why right after victory screen in Shulk leaked video, there is Yoshi at home-run contest and why there is such...things in those images instead of something actually interesting.
Anyway, why are we talking about it?

I kinda like the wait. I think I'd get a little bored knowing for too long. That seems to be the case with a lot of people with Mega Man, WFT, etc.
I'd rather sit on the edge of my seat, and hopefully, at the end of the wait....
