I can't take it anymore, I have to say this and I can't wait for Soulless to say it for me, and I think I should have done that a long time ago.

I can't. and I won't do anything about the group pic. I really hate that it ended this way, but, I'm being sincere. I think I was too overconfident about myself and that it was going to be easy, when in actually it isn't, specially when you compromised to over 30 people, each one with a really unique request that I may or not be able to get, depending in my recent abilities. After thr stressing week I had before I could have my vacations, the only thing I wanted was to rest, then I remembered I had said the in those days I would start sketching each request. And then my personal issues appeared and I just saw that in the 4th quarter of Univesity, it is going to get heavier for me, and I only have one week left to rest before it starts.

I'm so sorry about all this, and sorry that I failed to you all.

Really, the work you've gave us, being the funny Ridley/Roidley comix and your hard work towards your projects is a gift in itself. Don't feel burdened, like you failed anyone. You didn't. You have responsibilities and showing how much you cared to tell us how you feel, really shows just how great you are as a person. Give yourself some rest, you deserve it. :3

Not saying it is a final smash for sure, just that it's possible. Looking at the Sm4sh final smashes, Giga Bowser and Giga Mac actually don't look like there's an difference to the stage lighting. At all.

Scans from Nintendo Dream (that contained pretty much everything we already knew) were mistranslated and hinted at a Pyrosphere boss/ Ridley being a boss, It didn't help we had some detractors come in as well. Thankfully things were translated by an actual human (the previous translation was via Google Translate) and we saw things actually hint in Ridley's direction for being a playable character/ Pyrosphere not having a boss.

Can I get that translation?

Giga Mac and Wario-Man and Giga Bowser don't have the screen darkening effect because those three still retain the movesets of their base counterparts. Other transformation Final Smashes like Super Dragon and Super Sonic and Mega Charizard X cause the screen to darken because these transformations carry with them their own exclusive hitboxes and attacks and effects.

If Ridley shown in the Direct is using the Final Smash, then that means that that transformation is using the same moveset regular Ridley uses. Which means a playable Ridley would be able to fly in the air for some time and have some kind of air grab.

I would have saw this mentioned in the current thread where the scans from Nintendo Dream were revealed. There was more than mere Google Translating going on in the thread.

None of it suggested the possibility of Ridley being playable. Nothing was suggested that hasn't already been suggested.

EDIT - Thanks Captain Fun. Yeah, that's pretty much what was stated in the Nintendo Dream thread. The picture shown isn't even new. That dark spot is always there. But I don't think the translated text is even regarding that dark spot. It's just referencing what was shown on the Direct, assuming it a "huge" shadow.

Calm down. Put down the tablet, the pens, the paper, whatever you're trying to work with, lock them up and take a nap. Nobody's claiming you've failed them, your health and mental well-being come first.

Thsnk you. But even if you say that I didn't failed, I feel like I did, making so many people wait for it and in fear trying to avoid it...was a BIG fail for myself as a designer to be, because if I couldn't take this responsability, I doubt I'm going to be able to take any in the professional life if I ever reach it.

Yes, this. Does anybody else find it odd how they would call it "giant" when the shadow itself is quite small? This really does seem to be hinting at playable Ridley if they just lied about a giant shadow...

Oh, don't feel bad Andrea. If there is one thing I've learned from...personal experience, it's that knowing your limits is a very good thing. And now that you know that, it simply means that you won't have to do it again. Better now than later I'd say! And yeah, I kind of have experience with it,
Just continue with what you like doing, whether that be drawing, or...well, I don't know what other things you like. But if there are things you like doing and will help distracting you, go do that. Happy thoughts are good thoughts!

Oh, nobody knows for sure. But if you want to be on the safe side, you could simply make a less detailed version of Roidley's body, and add Roidley's head to it, keep it saved on a seperate layer or something. If Ridley turns out to be Conceptley, simply draw a new head on the old body, which should be simplified enough to look like Conceptley's body.

Judging by the shadows, he has traditional bat-wings with the concept art's ridged wings. To appease the classics within us all, I recommend Roidley's body rather than the six-pack of the concept art.
Due to the texture ugliness of Roidley, I firmly believe a hybrid is in. Although I'm a fan of Trailerley, as he has the longer legs.

My opinion? Trailerley, with Concept Artley's head and the wing structure of Meta Ridley.

But hey, I'm just speculating here.

Yeah I know, I saw those way back when and was informed of the shadow analysis by your works, but I couldn't use them as a concrete argument without being assaulted by insults and doubts even when showing the pictures, now with a official word I can happily use them without protest.

This sounds a lot more like something a magazine detailing Smash would write than the other translations. This one has that mysterious feel to it that most Smash news comes wrapped up in. You know what I mean? English is always hard to get a good translation from Japanese news, anyway.

I like this translation better than the others. Mostly because it feels more...real. Also because it sounds like Ridley's in, not that I had doubts.

For Ridley's Final Smash, the Space Dragon could have a combination of and ...Allow me to explain.

1) Ridley grabs an enemy and tosses them into the air....(OR perform a back-flip tail somersault, sending the enemy into the air with a powerful upper-cut tail whip).

2) Ridley flies and multi-gashes through the enemy at incredible speed from various random directions (4~6 times)

3) For a finisher, Ridley hovers inches above the victim mid-air and arches his head while taking a deep breath.....and then unleashes a huge fireball, enveloping the enemy and send them falling towards the ground......The fireball-enveloped victim crashes onto the ground and the fireball explodes, sending the enemy flying...along with any other enemies caught in the blast radius.
