The main thing people are likely looking forward to is if they give any new info on pyrosphere, pretty sure corocoro went back on the statement of it being 3DS only, but others have said that's not the case recently, so no idea.

Because last i checked they specifically said they would be showing all REVEALED characters.
Also to be fair all the characters are going to be revealed before the game hits western shores anyway, so if you're like me and don't want the super spoilers you're going to have to stay of the net for about a month

I'm sure we won't see the whole roster in a magazine, considering Sakurai still has some trailers left up his sleeve and I don't think he'd like to show a newcomer trailer after CoroCoro revealed them. It just doesn't fit his style.

And I'm sure we'll have official reveal for all characters before the game hits the rest of the world. The thing is I'd love it if Sakurai showed all of them at once someday (in spoilers, of course) to avoid someone leaking them before he does.

Cool, you use Adobe Illustrator as well? Is that CS6 or is it a Mac version of CS5 (mine is in grey and on PC)? I use CS5, mainly for designing logos.

It is CS6. =u= I have used it just to trace typography and to trace that Ridley drawing....it still makes get confused...

I would have no issue with having all the newcomers officially revealed before launch, actually. I mean, I'm going to know the full roster anyways, so I might as well have Sakurai spoil them for me with high quality pictures hidden in spoilers, just like he did with Brawl.

I can see something in the lines of "Pic of the day. This is the whole roster, hidden characters included. Open at your own risk!" happening. Actually I can't, but I'd love to see it happen.

But back to the topic, I think that Ridley should be revealed in a huge trailer with tons of people watching, so a Direct would be the best possible time to do so. I mean, he is by far the most requested character in the series, you just don't want the surprise to be ruined like that.

It'd be cool if Sakurai posted a pic of the day which showed the finished character select screen. With no secret characters unlocked, of course.

General directs are bi-monthly, so it's a very safe guess that we'll be getting one at some point during August. Just no one knows when for sure

At this point learning about any newcomer via a leak is disappointing. I doubt corocoro is going to be very interesting. Still holding out for a big villain trailer which would satisfy not only Ridley fans but also K Rool and Mewtwo fans

No Direct has been announced (yet), just a possibility of one being next week.

They could make an announcement for a Direct tomorrow, stating there'd be one for next week.

Or there's a possibility of a Robin/Lucina video happening for next week, and a Direct eventually happening towards the end of August.

No-one knows really (other than Sakurai and Nintendo...).

Yep. But it's only being done by particular stores, and I think only those stores have been informed about it so far. Ask your local shop what the biggest one in the area is, then give them a call to double check.

Yea...The chances of corocoro just going over what we already know is higher than getting something big, but you can't rule anything out just because of how confusing the situation is. Some people say we're going over what we know, others say differently...SEURGBSFVFDU so frustrating!
