Haha, I really love the character, but Ridley was slain for good, It doesn't exempt him of course for appearing in smash. Maybe we will get another member of his race that will make an appearance that is not a clone for a new metroid game?

Hey guys, I'm back from my vacation and I really don't feel like reading through all these posts.

Anyways, I had a reply from someone and he said that there are some lava things or something gone on a Final Destination form of Pyrosphere which I found interesting. This could could mean that the lava was the hazard and Ridley wasn't. I'm sure you guys probably talked about this already if this is true, but does anybody know if this is actually a fact?

This is interesting. I don't know if it's been pointed out or not, yet. But this could mean a lot. I don't know if the lava is a hazard or not. I'm going to assume so, considering the fact that it's a Metroid stage.

Every detractor out there assumes that Ridley would be a stage hazard in the Pyrosphere.......but I cannot shake the feeling that the Pyrosphere has more secrets that we cannot see just yet...

Think about it: Sakurai has yet to mention any information about the Pyrosphere stage.....and it's main " stage attraction".

This August Direct better reveal Ridley as a playable character.....and maybe we could see the Pyrosphere stage in full action.

but... i really hope play coins arent required for anything in the 3DS version... they seem to be an alternative currency for buying trophies, aside from those "smash coins", however you get those... i say that because my pedometer is kinda... screwed up... it keeps randomly resetting my steps so i cant earn coins, or atleast not many of them... stupid animal crossing.

what the hell can i mention regarding ridley in smash that hasnt been said atleast ten times on every damn page in this topic...

...anyone else curious how ridley will handle picking up barrels, crates, etc?

i mean, DK can move freely at a decent speed with them... but other powerhouses are still slowed down with them in tow, right?

i wonder if ridley will be mighty enough to carry crates with little effort, or if they'll make him struggle under the weight?

the mighty ridley... struggling to carry a wooden box full of flowers... that would be kinda insulting, actually.

Are these simply scenes from other games that were spliced in? Or is it possible they are scenes from upcoming reveal trailers?

Aren't those scenes during the opening sequence? During Villager's reveal trailer? It starts at 25 seconds.

I think that if Ridley is a boss, he needs to be a damn good boss so that Ridley fans aren't too dissapointed, and that toobigots don't beat him with ease.

In other words, the opposite of how he was in Brawl. The chances of him as a stationary hazard, being any better than he was in even that game though are practically nonexistent.

...anyone else curious how ridley will handle picking up barrels, crates, etc?

Wouldn't mind him picking them up under the claws of his feet (like how he holds the infant Metroid in the SSBM intro if I recall right), and the melee item weapons like star rod, etc. be wielded with his tail somehow. I'm sure they'd have him handle them with his talons though.

It shouldn't be much to ask for, but this is a cruel world.

And the only morality in a cruel world is chance, mirite? (Ridley's fate being no exception)

I always have this fantasy, and I'm sure I share it with most. A reveal trailer including Ridley, K. Rool, and Mewtwo. I've always loved the thought of it, and sheer hype of it. Crashboards for days maybe even weeks, it will never happen, but hot damn if it did.

It's like science, but with more sunglasses, skateboards and ill stunts. All while solving complex mathematical equations and discovering new species of ants.

Personally, I can't make anything of the silhouette. It simply doesn't show enough. It's rounded with jagged bits on the bottom but it doesn't mean much. Wish it did though. Accidental Ridley leak, and the universe would be at peace.
That is, for me. For the internet it would be turmoil and butthurt mixed with large quantities of hype.

I am saving the picture though, so that, should Ridley be confirmed, I can compare the two and see whether or not it was actually an accidental leak.
