i think you confused smash 64 and melee... ridley appeared in the opening of melee, which was the gamecube game.Hello,
I just wanted to throw me support in for Ridley in smash. I don't think I would play him often, but there is a certain nostalgia factor in seeing him included. I remember playing smash64 when it first came out and seeing ridley in the opening cinematic and being crazy disappointed when none of the 4 hidden character slots ended up being him. It would be nice to finally see him as a PC in smash.

I'm don't put much stock in leaks as a general rule (heck and X and Y had the final evolution of the starters leaked, I refused to believe they were real until official sources confirmed them...) and I don't want to get my hopes up for ridley (and more so mewtwo) but I do like the idea of clown car Bowser Jr. As for the dark pit not getting a splash, I don't thing it is to big of a deal. Could be as simple as Sakurai not wanting clone discussions taking over the E3 reveals.
If a leak does not include Ridley, I do not believe it as I am entirely convinced that Ridley is in the game with my demented

You can find it elsewhere. I don't think it's worth what little time or effort it'll take though. What's more important is Ridley. Because Ridley is awesome.
