I'd rather just double-win

in general i don't bet on things i care about though; i just bet to make things i don't care about a bit more interesting

and in fantasy football i always try to bench players playing the cowboys... but also since they're playing the cowboys they're going to get ****ED UP anyway so it's a sam adams

Lakers take game numero uno! I have to admit, I'm a little surprised. The Celtics have been playing really good ball this post season and Rondo has been next to unstoppable. LA did a great job on D though.

it would be a great series if the refs stopped calling every ticky tacky foul

there have been a ton of BS calls both ways, so it's not that i think it's biased, although calling the game very tight inherently hurts the celtics. it's just like... is this really the product you want to show everyone? this is all most casual fans will see and remember.

and god is anyone watching this serie? kobe bryant is proving why he's so overrated. his ego took over and he tried to put away the game in the 3rd... and only served to shoot the celtics back in the game. thanks!

i think the "can review all moving and possession violations in the last 2 minutes" or whatever rule is dumb as ****

You have no idea why Kobe, or any other player in any game, does anything. Stop being such a tool.

Hey guys I have come up with a psychological profile for a celebrity so now I understand the reasons for his/her actions.
I went ahead and fixed your post for you.

the instant replay view during the last 2 minutes is dumb? are you saying you'd rather have no instant replay, or that there should be more time w/ instant replay?

game 3 actually had a few very very close calls that would have most likely been called incorrectly had it not been for instant replay.

the refs still do **** it up with instant replay though (i think it was game 2 where the ball clearly went off of garnett's hand yet it was still out on the lakers).

i think the rule is legit.

i saw that replay a billion times and didn't see how it was out on garnett, but i'm obv the only one -shrugs-

kobe choking yet again in the 4th. took 20+ shots yet again in the game and is now shooting 40% in the series. will this be yet another team an elite defense (pistons, spurs, celtics in 08) hold him to 40% shooting or worse?

lakers lost cuz lamar and the bigs couldn't contain glen davis, not cuz of kobe. did u watch the game? everytime lakers lost the lead, kobe would hit a 3 or some big shot to regive them the lead. he eventually ran out of those in the 4th, but he was the one keeping them in it.

the lakers lost the game for multiple reasons, kobe being one of them. kobe made a bunch of amazing 3-pointers but the point is those are exactly the shots the celtics want him to take. he's a 33 percent 3-point shooter; keep jacking up contested 3s please. he was not getting to the line until the game was essentially over late in the 4th. turnovers killed them too, which he had seven of.

gasol had 21 points on 13 shots; every time the lakers went to him he scored or set someone else up for a basket. like i've said all year the lakers don't give gasol the ball enough and it will be their downfall.

the main reason they lost however is without bynum they got destroyed on the boards. that said kobe shooting long jumpers all day doesn't help matters -- when he misses it just ignites the celtics fastbreak, which is the only way they can consistently score.

fact is if the lakers lose this should justly destroy kobe's legacy.

edit: and since he's supposed to be so "clutch," don't ignore his non-existent 4th quarter once again. where was he when the celtics BENCH gave the celtics an 8-11 point lead? getting locked up by tony allen!

yeah i'm sure the celtics want him to take those shots, not make them. of course if he missed those 3's i'd be singing a different tune, but he did what he did to keep us in it.

reason we lost like you said was cause of no bynum, which allowed for both davis to score easier buckets/ domination by the celtics on the boards. kobe also had that crucial turn over when his pass got picked off by rondo. wrong time to be unselfish =[

our bench also did jack **** that game, while davis and robinson ran a train on us in the 4th. lakers had a combined 18 pts from the bench, while davis alone had 18 pts. props to the celtics for having different people step up each game.

i hope bynum can make due on his bum knee, cause we really need that guy.

i'll just say i dont think it bodes well for the rest of the series / tonight

i'm going w/ the celtics over/under +4.5 tonight and im taking over

it's such a shame that kobe's spectacular offensive clinic in the 3rd quarter was overshadowed by the laker's inability to play defense. i think the celtics scored on 12 of 13 possessions? unforgivable.

if we don't D up game 6 we are done for.

Not to mention bad offense by everyone except kobe.
Lakers had a chance toward the end but a couple missed free throws by pau and ron along with missed defensive boards cost them
