Lets abolish the point system and that is coming from the leader.
Even though at least five of your counters should've failed?

Swampert

Poliwrath @ Leftovers
Adamant / Water Absorb

Resists attacking moves and the Atk drop from burn isn't scary at all.

Although it pains me to say it, the point system is debilitating to the game...

So, I will redesign it.

SEMI-OFFICIAL RULES:
Variety- Use only BL and under. Use only BL and under.
Adherence- A Choice item can only be used if every attack in the moveset of the holder can function as a counter to the previous post. For example, Shadow Claw would not be allowed on a Choiced Slaking if it was countering a Lopunny, since Shadow Claw would not beat the previous counter.
Eye of the Tiger- Any move with over 50% accuracy will hit the first time.

POINT SYSTEM:
1 point is awarded for an anti-Choice immunity, a BL counter gets 2 points, 3 points are given if a counter is UU or if the strategy for a BL is complex, and 4 points are awarded for NU and complex UU.

2 points are subtracted for any counter that fails.

Any NFE is counted as being one tier under its present final form.

Against Metagross:

Moltres w/Leftovers
Naive/Pressure
255 Sp. Atk/ 155 Def./ 100 Sp. Def.
+ Fire Blast
+ Air Slash
+ Protect
+ Ancientpower
Fire-powered fire is fiery.

Yeah...I can't think of anyone who uses Castform, though.
L o o k i n g b a c k, X a t u h a d S y n c h r o n i z e.

SCOREBOARD:
Platypus- II

Against Molten Three:

Golem w/Expert Belt
(+Sp. Atk. -Speed)/Sturdy
55 Atk/ 55 Def./ 200 Sp. Atk./200 Sp. Def.
+ Stone Edge
+ Gyro Ball
+ Fire Blast
+ HP Grass
I ignore Protect momentarily, attempting to spam Stone Edge. Have a nice big cup of this guy. Taste the saccharine? No, you don't.

Since the Q & A thread isn't stickied and this is the most visited thread on the Poke Center, I'll ask my question here:

If you use all your other attacks once, switch out, switch back in later, can you use Last Resort?

FAILURE
Earthquake fails to OHKO while Surf does have a good chance to OHKO. If it doesn't OHKO, I survive your Earthquake and hit you again so you die.
Also, Electivire is OU.

@Mesprit:

Mismagius @ Leftovers
Modest/Levitate
252spA/252spD/4HP
-Shadow Ball
-Will-o-Wisp
-Pain Split
-Hidden Power Fighting

If you Calm Mind on the switch, we both 3HKO. However, I outspeed you so you will die first.
If you Psychic on the switch, you need to hit another 3 times but I 2HKO you.
Will-o-Wisp to cripple any physical attacker coming next, Pain Split to heal from the Pokémon coming next and HP Fighting for unresisted type coverage.

Roost
Fire Blast

I outspeed and survive with Roost to anything that isn't Flash Fire activated Flare Blitz, whose recoil shuts off Focus Sash, and then I OHKO. If you don't use Flare Blitz, I just 2HKO with EQ. Fire Blast for icies, Sunny Day abuse and unresisted Dragon/Ground/Fire combo. (Sound familiar?)

Yeah...Your HP Rock is disabled.
How, Imprison? I believe that goes away after Stantler perishes or switches...

Let us assume you switch in on Sunny Day, your HP Water would do 20%-23% damage, whereas my HP Rock does 57%-68% damage, so I win regardless of what happens...You switch in on Hidden Power, I outspeed on KO you...

FEPIC AILURE!!!!

Ninetales is the current counter...

Imprison does not, to my knowledge, go away after a switch.

*Struggle*
http://www.smogon.com/dp/moves/imprison

^See for yourself...

And no, Altaria will not be the current counter. I'm tired of having failed counters being posted, and those things being countered and countered again. It's not fair to me.

This has already happened several times before, and I won't allow it to happen again.
For example, about 100 pages ago, a Me First Absol was used to "counter" my SD Empoleon with Aqua Jet, Shadow Claw, and Brick Break. He assumed I would use Brick Break, and he could Me First it since he's faster. What if I Aqua Jet? gg

Also, due to our Choice Rule here, Choice counters are easy to come up with.

I try my best to be here as often as I can to make sure counters work before we move on...

COUNTER NINETALES, IF YOU CAN!!!!

I can take a hit or three from Solarbeam, which requires Sunny Day to be set up, and four from Hidden Power. Earthquake OHKOs, Stone Edge for fliers, Solar Beam for water types and using Sunny Day, and Overheat to hurt with STAB, Sunny Day and 105 base SpA.

EDIT: Beaten

Yeah, it works. The Choice Rule basically means you can only have one attack whe using a Choice Item. It was rather drawn out many pages back, the exact one which I'm not sure.

Also, WouW, you can't assume all that much in this game; I may not set up Sunny Day at all, since it's not required for Ninetales to beat Rapidash (even though it would be nice that Golduck didn't come in and own me >>).
