There's a 50% chance this would fail switching in to Icy Wind then getting hit by Air Slash. Feel free to shift some EV's to SpDef to make it work.

Hitmonchan can't touch Sheddy :p

For real this time:

Gallade @ Shell Bell
Jolly / Steadfast
EVs - 4 HP, 252 Att, 252 Spd
~Close Combat
~Night Slash
~Psycho Cut
~Icy Wind

Since Gallade is no longer OU...
Gallade can come in on any attack like a champ, and tear through you with a SE STAB Psycho Cut. STAB Close Combat hits hard to have Shell Bell give me tons of recovery, whilst Night Slash ruins Mismagius, who could normally come in and trash it with Shadow Ball. Icy Wind is becoming a favored move of mine, as it will slow down opposing Pokes.

Takes your hits well, doesn't care about the Speed drop as it's not outspeeding much with 95 speed anyway, and Shadow Sneak and Sucker Punch have priority anyway. 3HKOs with Shadow Sneak/Sucker Punch while Night Slash 8HKOs.

Since I never actually got to use it...

Honchkrow w/Scope Lens

200 Atk./ 100 Def./ 100 Sp. Atk./ 100 Sp. Def./ 10 Speed

+ Thunder Wave
+ Heat Wave
+ Air Cutter
Honchkrow is used by me. Sucker Punch and Shadow Sneak are both NVE, and Pain Split is unreliable with all of these critical cuts alongside Thunder Wave. Heat Wave covers things that aren’t covered by moves that aren’t Heat Wave.

Also, could someone count the points up? Does anyone have enough spare time?

Points are dead and forgotten. Also, does that even work as even when critted both Air Cutter and Night Slash don't 2HKO (unless you hit max both times, which doesn't count), with Leftovers factored in. And I could just Pain Split that off.

Switch: HP Fighting (100%, ~76%)
Turn 1: Air Cutter / HP (crithax, ~49%, ~52@)
Turn 2: Air Cutter / Pain Split (omg another crit!) ~4%, ~52
Pain Split: 12+177=189
189:2=94= ~30%, ~27% (after lefties ~36%, ~27%)
Now you'd have to get a crit, but that is too haxed so let's assume that doesn't happen:
Turn 3: Air Cutter / HP (not a crit this time) ~5%, ~3%
Turn 4: Shadow Sneak > KO!!

You'd have to be really lucky to win this. And Heat Wave or Thunder Wave are a waste of time, as parahax isn't factored in and I move last anyway.

Came laughs at your feeble night slash. Twave and Hwave are pointless, Air cutter is a joke as well. I switch in, set up a sub, and stone edge. if needed i do another one, but probabally not.

Seed Bomb does lol damage, Leech Seed doesn't work, easily breaks substitutes and Synthesis is lol as well due to Hail. 100 accurate Blizzard FTW. Ice+Flying rids of every single Grass-pokémon in the game.

Frostie can easily take any of your hits, and she outspeed you. worst case you sub, sub, sub, seed and get koed by continuous signal beams.

Have fun getting over half of your health off from a Blizzard on the switch with you only 3HKOing me (2HKO due to my Life Orb) and then taking the other half from another Blizzard.

I just ran this and my froslass won it- blizz did a little less than half her health, and my signal beam 2koed it.... as she outspeeds you she can take 2 of them and still finish it off- maybe your forgetting signal beam hits super on Abomasnow, or that froslass takes 1/2 damage from ice.

I calculated it and Blizzard does 52.67% - 62.28%, with your Signal Beam doing 42.37% -50.47% and I get two hits before you do.
Don't forget Life Orb and switching.

Just so you're aware, I only posted a counter to show you that it could be done. In all honesty your counters don't work for breaking the "Choice" rule.

Either way:

Uxie@Light Clay
Bold/Levitate
252Hp/252Def/4SpDef
-Reflect
-Light Screen
-Rest
-Yawn

and for Seaking:

Mawile@Salac Berry
Intimidate/Jolly
252Atk/244Spe/12Hp
-Substitute
-Swords Dance
-Iron Head
-Thunder Punch

You can chose either to counter

The second Hariyama was a joke. The first Hariyama DID work as all of its attacks at least 2HKOed Clefable.

I love Bastiodon. He's pretty much a counter, two earthquakes or a curse and an earthquake will probably kill lmao

Focus Sash is only allowed if you are guaranteed to survive at least one hit. From the looks of things, I don't think Bastiodon enjoys a 4x Super Effective Earthquake backed by a Swords Dance and Life Orb.

LOL, I can't believe I didn't notice his earthquake. eh well. but often if I'm completely outmatched with bastiodon (like against someone with fighting moves or earthquake) I'll use metal burst. I go down to 1 damage on the first hit, but then it always KO's them. and besides, with two curses, the earthquake won't OHKO. depending on who attacks, it may only take one curse.

1) Excuse my noobishness. I always knew about competitive pokeman but never really got into it until recently with shoddy. please don't yell "epic failure". I was only thinking about types, by which Bastiodon is a counter. I also merged my thinking with Smogon "A defensive Steelix and Sandslash make decent counters, as they can 2HKO Drapion with their STAB Earthquakes while Drapion fails to 2HKO either of them even after a Swords Dance"
2) I meant before Drapion switches in you do curse
3) the first attack I could do metal burst or earthquake.

I post here for the first time and this is my welcome? well good day, sir! *slams door*

In order to be considered a counter, a pokemon must be able to safely switch into the pokemon it's countering and kill/disable it without being at any real risk. That's pretty much the definition unless I forgot something.

EDIT:

Except unlike Steelix/Sandslash, Bastiodon doesn't get STAB on earthquake.

Flygon resists your poison, immune to EQ, outspeeds you, and can easily take a Night Slash (assuming thats what i switch in on, im betting not), before OHKOing you with a STABed up EQ.
