I like it better for its bulk and ability to boost/recover with Roost.
This is basically the reason it's better.

It's bulkier than Skarmory and has more attack than Garchomp. Its SD/BP/Knock Off/Roost set is an OU staple.

I'm seriously hoping for OR/AS to have move tutors. I really want to give my Fire-Types Thunder Punch.

2-0'd my worst enemy today, some guy who always tries to battle me every single time I get on. Even after months of not playing, he's there online. Rage quits and always talks **** in the little shout out bar.

He challenged me a third time and started using shiny ubers which I assume are 6ivs just because he has so many. Ended up losing because he's the type you can predict for days but he just went straightforward this game.

Now he thinks he's the best and I don't like it.

It's better to let delusional people think that than have them hate you/be on your ass 24/7 until they beat you. I've had a few friends like that, and while it gets frustrating, I take that much more joy in beating them by doing incredibly stupid ****.

Indeed.

But he was trying to bag on me for using SD BP Speed Boost Scolipede on my Moxie Salamence when he had a Mewtwo, Mega Gengar, and a Darkrai on the same team.

Not to mention that he changed his team entirely every match while I kept the same team every time. All that time to counter team.

This person who plays me is a whole different level of something else.

Well, I can't say he's good. He kind of knows what he's doing judging by some plays but he did use a not Mega Mawile on the second battle because he switched it with the Gengarite.

I have a friend who uses an all fairy team...I still can't beat her. I guess I'm not good at Pokemon. :/

Have you tried using mega mawile? it 4x resists fairy types and hits hard with iron head.

I haven't yet. She also has a Mega Mawile, so it won't do much to her. She also has other options like Klefki, Azurill and Paraflinch Togekiss.

I don't know what's considered viable and what's not, but the team I keep losing to consists of Klefki, Togekiss, Azumarill, Gardevoir, Slurpuff, and Mega Mawile.

They're all pretty good except Gardevoir by itself. Gardevoir would need something crazy with Trace.

I don't know if Slurpuff is good but I've only ever see it in teams that never win matches.

During my second match a couple nights ago where I used a few ubers (which I warned her I was going to test out some ubers if she was down), she sent out Gardevoir against my last remaining Pokemon...Poison Arceus. I usually get destroyed by Paraflinch from Togekiss and the set up from Klefki. From the top of my head, I don't think I have any IV bred and EV trained Pokemon that can't get paralyzed except Garchomp...which gets owned by the Fairy typing. I believe Gardevoir also traced Parental Bond at one point.

Wow, for a long time I thought fairy resisted fairy. Anyways, is the arceus special or physical? I could see scarfed Judgement being useful with poison typing. Unless it's physical, which 99% of them are.

I used a special one with recover to basically stall enough until I got lucky with being able to move and KO Togekiss. Poison Arceus can't hold Scarf because it has to hold the Toxic Plate. The whole time Togekiss was attacking it, my friend thought it was Ghost, so she could have switched into Gardevoir anytime if she knew.

Gotta say, I hate losing games by 1 pokemon. Especially when I am using a mixed tier with mostly RU against a full OU team, and I get them down to...*deep breath*....Talonflame. Then Bravebird to everything and its all gone.

I forgot that it can't hold a scarf if it has a poison typing. @ Knight Dude Knight Dude If you go to the first page, it has everyone's FC and Safari. You can look for a grass one and PM them.

Guess you need that Talonflame counter, lol.

Anyway, I use the best Gyarados ever. Choice Specs Modest, lol.

Lol i missed quite a bit here due to not getting an alert. Clefable is probably better than slurpuff because of unaware and cosmic power.. Also is anyone doing the eeveelution tourney on the gl or have 6 of them that can be used competitively against my eeveelution team?'

the Fancy vivillon pattern is available now if anywants it to complete thier collection

Edit 2:
gg Imaclubyou that team was only built for other eeveelutions so i didn't expect it to do that good against other pokemon.. but dat sylveon tanked a +2 Poison jab from scolipede mission accomplished lol (it's Bold with 252 with 84 HP)

Yeah I was surprised Sylv and Umbreon took a +2 poison jab even though my Scoli has no attack investment.

Damn Focus Sash Espeon ruined the Salamence sweep, lmao.

I'll be playing Mario Kart. Ciao.

Good to see it's still active here.

After my mental block with my 3rd VGC team, My interest kind of took a dive bomb for a while. Hate when that happens.

I hope we're still sharing Battle Replays.. despite the fact that I haven't any to share.

All of my favorite matches get rage quitted so I can never save them :(

GZHG-WWWW-WWW8-6A63

Unfortunate for Azumarill and 1 bad play but it was good... for me anyway, lol.

If you ever want to test your VGC team. I can help. I've gotten a lot better at VGC now (I don't have all Pokemon weak to ghost like my last team lol).

Unfortunately I've stopped doing VGC because i need to expand the dex for team building and it feels like my team's have gotten worse since I've been trying VGC rules..

Also here is one of my battle vids for the Eevee Friendlies that i just had.
FL2G-WWWW-WWW8-GU34

My last two were both choiced. Leafy with Scarf (On Dig) and Jolt with Specs (with Thunderbolt) but managed to get the win by getting good reads on the opponent.

Anybody want to try out type specialist battles? I think it'll be a fun experience!

We use 6 Pokemon who all share the same typing but can still keep their secondary typing.

Type advantage and disadvantages will be your own fault :)

Hello people. This thread is pretty dead but I'll post anyway.

I'm looking for Regenerator Slowbro's, Storm Drain Lileep's, and Disable Gourgeist.

Any help would be appreciated!

Alrighty, you lucked out. My friend still has the one I gave him a while ago/bred me a 4IV one with Curse/SR/Mirror Coat/Recover.

Still gotta breed some more Slowpokes and find my Gourgeist collection in Pokebank, but I should be done before night.

Yerp, pretty much standard for all my trade/deals. Only time I'll ask for something is if I need it to help someone else with trading.

I'm taking a little bit longer than expected since I have family over (like everyone else besides my sis/I has their birthdays in July).
