Idunno. He can't do ANYTHING hardly without his Pikmin? That really REALLY worries me. How tough will it be in competitive play to get enough Pikmin out in time to fight well? How durable are these little guys? If I'm mid-battle with a quick-hitting MetaKnight, will these guys be able to save me?

Idunno. This just seems too problematic...

Olimar is very complex. How does he do smash attacks then? Does the pikmin run away after u punch your enemy once. Or he'll stay unless u throw him?

Olimar looks uber complicated to play. I would venture to say he would be the hardest character to master, even before playing the game.

I just don't understand why the character models for the pikmin aren't as polished as they are in the gamecube games....

This is Wii, shouldn't they look much better than the Gamecube graphics.....other than that, this is a kick@$$ update.

Yep I posted about that in that Rumor thread.... that was the very first thing I thought of when I saw the picture of Olimar swinging.


There was a prophet which gave all of Olimar's specials once, including an attack involving using a whip.

Up+B = whip IMO, especially when used on the ground.

Shows how little you know. You can't control which ones you get (to a degree), plus...Red and yellow do bonus damage, too.

Plus, we have no idea how the mechanics with other characters works.

Bout kirby, i think the Pikmins will change his smash attacks or something.
I mean C.Olimar specials are almost for summoning and ordering the pikmins, the attacks will be done by neutrals anyways.

Wow, I predicted every single move, down to the up B. I just switched the down and standard B moves because I thought the whistle should stun enemies for 1% damage so Kirby would have something to do.

I'm now thinking Kirby will pick up an Pikmin and immediately throw it.
