I ABSOLUTELY want Megaman as a character in Brawl, he would be one of my mains, but if he's in, I'd like to see the Megaman X version. The original one seems too youngish, and doesn't look like a full-fledged brawler to me. I'd like to see MMX with his trademark X-Buster (obviously) and maybe his Nova Dash from MMX 4,5 & 6...

As for a partner, I'd sure love to see Zero, being one of my favourite video game characters ever. I'd like to see the one from MMX too...

Zero's moveset
B:The Beam Sabre being his standard A attacks, maybe he would have his Z-Buster, being slower than MMX's X-Buster, and without the ability to charge it, but it would do more damage than X's standard et half-charged shots...
SideB: Lightning sword stab while dashing or Shipuu/Shipuuga or Hisuisho from MMX5
UpB: The flame saber attack where he lifts from the ground and slashes upwards in the air.
DownB: Either the glacial saber attack where he lands like link's swordplant (though I'd see it like an aerial down+A) or he trademark "Pounding the Ground" move where pillars of light goes flying on the screen (this or energy projectiles flying across the stage in every directions)

5th - Four Guardians (Harpuia, Leviathan, Phantom, Fefnir)
6th - The Bonnes from Legends
7th - Prometheus & Pandora from ZX

excellent first post, TheDrifter. i like X a lot too. however until i played MM8, i thought classic MM couldnt possibly be a badass due to his youngish appearance. but classic MM is a pymp too. i would prefer X slightly more but i'll be fully satisfied with classic MM.

I'm just saying, that after that fiasco, I'm not going to put too much hope into the Anniversay Party. Knowing Capcom, it'll probably just be alot of Star Force propaganda. On the other hand, though, Sonic was revealed at an event himself. I'm just doubtful and trying to prepare for the worst case senerio, that's all. If Mega is indeed confirmed to be in SSBB at the event then I'll be waiting to see his update on the site and his updated character model!

I believe it can. It's in high demand so it's already got that going for it. They'd have to make the visuals and graphics crisp and clear and make the controls smooth and responsive. They'd also have to get some really great music writers and develop a highly innovative, addictive, fun, and non-gimmick style of gameplay that's challenging but not tedious. Top that off with longer gameplay hours and yes, I believe you have the first worldwide all-timer Megaman game.

And that's AFTER they get out of that deep hole they dug themselves in with EXE, Starfoce, etc.

Ok, fine, i'll admit that i haven't played any of the starforce games, so that was abit biased... and you already stated why i don't like protoman.exe (seriously, the guy acts like an extra from the matrix), but that was uncalled for... all i meant was that there are other rival characters that are better than the ones (or at least protoman.exe) that got ranked as high as they did.

alright you got me there, but I think a alteration/remake/whatever of a well recived series is better than a alteration/remake/whatever of a less well recived series.

I personaly dont hate exe(I just didnt like it all that much if at all). but from what I have heard from ALOT of people, exe and star force are essencialy the same. that is what put me against star force.(plus I hated the little T.V. thing of it, reminded me too much of the BN story line/characters >.<). we all have different opinions.

Well yea the storyline will be similar. It takes place in the same universe & has the same target audience. I liked the show, save for the opening theme. That was terrible. I love the Japanese one, though. Which reminds me, that would be a good theme if Subaru/Geo was chosen for Brawl.
