i used to use NES and SNES emulators all the time in high school. got me through an entire year of web design. i even brought in a controller to play sometimes...

I smoked last night. No schizophrenia, it just made TBK (Taco Burrito King) and Arizonas taste really good, made smash/DOTA pretty fun to play, and gave me a good sleep. XD

People who honestly think that there is nothing bad about weed are ignorant :p. But look it up on google. There is a pretty strong correlation between them. I definitely wouldn't risk it if being mental health problems run in your family.

And I would love to come smash with you guys sometime soon. You guys live so far away though :( Maybe we could meet in Effingham?

Me too. And on Saturday night, though that was much more entertaining. There were 4 dudes and this one underaged chick who was pretty well drunk after two queer beers (I wasn't sure if she was faking at this point). After 4, she was fell over constantly. She then said that she was going on a walk as we were having an intense 2 on 2 foosball game (note: 2 bowls) so we kind of said "yeah, okay". The next 20 minutes were spent looking for her in the house. We found her underneath a computer desk, out. At this point, I was pretty sure she wasn't faking. As two of them got her to the couch and were taking off her sweatshirt, it reminded a friend and I about how terribly, terribly bad this would look to an outsider just walking in.

If you think ANYONE thinks there's nothing bad about weed, then they haven't tried it. Seriously, the first time, or the first time in awhile will **** up your throat.

But Schizophrenia? Seriously? I know some serious stoners (as in, multiple times a day for the past 5 years) who are still right in the head.

My Grandma has tanned everyday for the last 60 years and has never had skin cancer. My Grandpa smoked all his life and never got lung cancer. But that doesn't mean smoking and tanning don't cause cancer.

There is a small chance that weed can cause Schizophrenia.

That's so stupid lol. That's just like saying "there's a small chance that touching your keyboard will give you a deadly flesh eating virus." Sure it's true, but it's so absurdly improbable that it's irrelevant.

Also, only scrubs **** up their lungs first time smoking. No johns.

Take bigger hits, fgt. Also the method of transportation is a factor. Bongs hit easier than a pipe ever will. Blunts are strictly out of the question, due to how much they waste.

I once did a double filtered bong filled with those flavored icee stick things, and I was absolutely blown away. It was like flavored air, it was fantastically smooth, it was worth the bit of thc lost between the filters. Unfortunately, I don't talk to the dude anymore, but it was friggin' fantastic.

Do you guys seriously do drugs without looking up the side effects? Didn't you have D.A.R.E as a child? lol
You cannot dismiss the studies about marijuana so easily. The chances of a person conduction a flesh eating virus by touching the computer is too small to measure (like 0.000001%). However, the links between marijuana and schizophrenia are MUCH higher. Weed causes about 14% of the cases of schizophrenia.


Worst negative side effects of marijuana (in my opinion):


1. Schizophrenia- 1.1% of the population has schizophrenia. Smoking weed raises a persons chances of developing schizophrenia to 1.6% (and higher if mental disorders run in your family).

"Smoking cannabis raises the risk of schizophrenia by more than 40 percent, a disturbing study warns.
The Government-commissioned report has also found that taking the drug regularly more than doubles the risk of serious mental illness.
Overall, cannabis could be to blame for one in seven cases of schizophrenia and other life-shattering mental illness, the Lancet reports."

2. Lack of motivation- It's not just a stereotype that potheads don't do anything with their lives. Smoking weed actually reduces your motivation. If you are in school or you already have motivation problems, then weed will just make it worse. It also has negative effects on your memory, which also doesn't help you in school.

3. It's illegal- The laws are pretty strict on smoking weed, especially for selling it.


I'm not sure if this one counts, because you shouldn't be driving if your high! "Studies show that 6 to 11 percent of fatal accidents are contributed to by marijuana side effects."

I drive high quite often, and I've never even been pulled over, much less had an accident. I tend to concentrate MORE when I'm high and I'm driving. It's pretty much the only thing I can do at the time :p

. I personally don't trust statistics. According to fox news, only 85% of male rapists are into porn. I'd always thought everyone was into porn. At least, everyone I've ever talked to has enjoyed their fair share of it.

And yes, I had DARE, that's a big factor to why I don't do harder ****.

I don't know the laws on weed. I know people who sell it get 5 years+ pretty commonly. I would think that if a cop knew you were driving high, then you would get something (DUIish? lol).

It's proven that weed slows your reflexes and makes you a worse driver. But you say it makes you a better driver. Does it also give you super powers?

....? I know lots of people who don't look at porn. Myself included. I agree that you have to be careful with statistics, but you still can't dismiss them and say they are wrong for no reason.
