Actually it does. The only reason people even still talk about him is because of fans. Only reason he might be in Brawl is cuz of fans. I hate him because of stupid fans who think he's just as important of a character as Ridley or Captain Falcon or some such thing. If Geno supporters were a little more humble, I'd probably support the guy...

I don't care about your reasons. Stop equating him to more important characters. Say "Yes, he's only been in one game, but it was an awesome game, and we love him. And maybe they would make more RPGs if he was in..." or anything like that, fine. Saying things that try to bring down already established characters to gain more support...that's what ticks me off.

Geno is unwanted outsied of SWF? have you EVER been to any other smash forum ANYWHERE?

and as far as your "unknown" argument, i'd like to direct you to the Ice Climbers, Ness, Lucas, Marth, Roy, and Mr. Game & Watch. ask anyone who is not a smash player who these characters are, and the majority of them will have no f***ing idea. but why are we judging popularity from people outside the smash community in the first place? we are all, including Sakurai, IN the smash community.

That's agreeable. That's how I always viewed it, but I'd say ANY support group over-exaggerates characters unintentionally, a la Ridley, Ahsley, etc.

Do your research, cause if u did then you would know that SMRPG is the most requested game on the VC and Japan and America both want the game.

That is my point!...Geno doesn't compare to Ridley. Ridley is the only other important character in the Metroid series. He's the arch villain...the reason Samus even became a bounty hunter. I could go on, but I won't. Geno has had one game that doesn't place him anywhere in importance to the Mario universe. Just leave it as you want him in regardless of how "worthy" he might be. I can at least live with that.

NO ONE SAID HE IS COMPARABLE TO RIDLEY

Geno is wanted in Smash to represent a game that had major influence on a lot of people, enough for them to band together in the seemingly impossible task of having their character enter into the biggest game coming to the Wii, once again as playable. They feel he deserved to have had another chance to shine seeing as to Mario RPG, though good, never received a true sequel due to Nintendo and Square splitting up

According to some of them, they hate Geno because of the fans. I'd understand if they hated him because of their oponions of him not being important enough of being in the game and they gave a valid argument against it. But hating a character just because of the fans? That's low.

That's like hating Halo and not playing it just because of the numerous fanboys and little kids who talk **** online.

Point I'm trying to get across, is hating something just because of certain fanboys is stupid and ignorant. Sorry about for pointing that out clear enough :p

Thank you. I'll take credit for that one... But it's true. He just randomly shows up and starts sprinkling his fairy dust on everything. He may be like a tooth fairy, just show up in your room and watch you sleep...
