Kirby is my favorite of Nintendo franchises to play and Dedede has always been my favorite series...I've wanted to play as Dedede since Kirby's Dreamland 2

Well yes, I will definitley play Bomberman...Of all characters during the Melee poll, Bomberman is the one I wanted the most...

Kirby is my favorite of Nintendo franchises to play and Dedede has always been my favorite series...I've wanted to play as Dedede since Kirby's Dreamland 2

Kirby's always been one of my favorite series as well, but I still never cared much for Dedede. As far as villains go, he comes off as incredibly unimpressive, no where near Bowser, Ganon, or even King K. Rool. He's always merely the tool of a greater evil, usually Dark Matter. As far as I'm concerned, MetaKnight, who I wanted to play since Kirby Super Star, was the better Kirby series villain/anti-hero/rival character, and thankfully we got him first. Dedede's inclusion was more obligatory than anything else. And before you whip out the poll "results" on me, you realize that the posted submissions were but a handful of possibly millions. Sakurai would of course be a little more biased toward his character and would be more likely to post requests for them than other characters. And even if he wasn't as "highly" requested, Sakurai would probably have included him anyway, as he's always seen Kirby, MK, and Dedede as a trio of sorts. I don't hold that against him, it's his characters in his game after all. I'm just annoyed of his sudden "fanbase" (granted you always made your self out to be a Dedede fan psycho, so I'm not including you in that category) - the Dedede thread had less posts and views than even my Mach Rider thread prior to his confirmation if that says anything. But ah well, I'm getting WAY off topic... [/rant]

But still, I'm a little irked that the B-Man is being outdone by as mediocre a character as Dedede...

Well that's what makes him unique, A baddie doesn't have to be giant, nasty and evil......sure most baddies are but that's what makes King dedede unique.

I don't see King dedede as a villian really...I mean in a lot of games he helps kirby too.

Patinator's Throws! Forgotten... FTL.

JEEZ my computer's slow all of a sudden. Anyway!

Let's hope Bomberman wins this worthless competition!

I have ONE more thing to add to my moveset. I forgot his throws!

Grab: He holds a foe with his hands. Duh. He has a bit more grab range than Mario in Melee.

Pummel attack: He performs a slap with the ball on his head. 2%.

Forward Throw: He holds the enemy with his left hand, spins his arm around cartoonishly for half a second, and sends them flying forward. 6%, moderate knockback.

Back Throw: Bomberman jumps backwards, spins in midair, and lands with the opponent below him. The foe bounces up and away. Moderate knockback, although they go quite high. 8%.

Up Throw: Bomberman throws the opponent up in the air about as high as two of him would reach, then throws up a bomb. It explodes upon contact, much like Fox and Falco's Up Throw in Melee, so low knockback. 10%.

Down Throw: Bomberman lays a bomb between him and his foe, which explodes in one second. Both him and the grabbed foe are damaged, with moderate upwards knockback. 10% to Bomberman, 12% to the foe.

Well, my moveset is concluded! I think...

Special Moves: Check.

A Moves (Smash, Strong, Neutral): Check.

Throws/Pummel: Check.

Aerial Attacks: Check.

Dash Attack: Check!
