(Well... also, the truth is: only about four days ago I started playing Brawl after not playing for several months, and then ever since then I hadn't even used Lucario until that last match). xP

And really? There was lag? Huh, well, I actually didn't feel it at all, but perhaps I just wasn't noticing it.

Well, there was a delay in some matches. The one I can remember the most was when I used Kirby, I was trying to "spike" you with the drill kick, but instead he plummeted like a rock, pass through you and drill the nothingness before exploding. There was like a second difference between what I did and what the character did.
Since in some matches you activated ^B kinda late and wasn't able to get back to the stage I supposed it was happening to you as well

Great Games Zatch. Seems like it's been a while. Maybe it's just me.

Sorry I was playing pretty badly throughout. Lag was messing me up a ton and I just realized I hadn't eaten yet LOL. Good stuff as usuall~

Look for my Charizard/Yoshi/Bowser once we hop on the Smash4 bandwagon ;)

Good games Courage. You always remind me why the Falco MU is an extremely arduous one for my low tiers. Couldn't punish anything with jab and lasers interrupting all of my options and resetting/nullifying my aerial approaches. You play him annoyingly well, haha. You should use more f-tilt spacing, though. I saw you using it a little more (it appeared jokingly) on FD against my Ike, but it is pretty awesome combined with lasers or jabs.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I try to use him a lot more since he apears to be one of my stronger characters. On and offline.

Good games Amical! Your sheik is very good but you really got to think of more mindgames besides the "walk this way"(you would walk away like we wasnt fighting and then do 1 out of 4 options). It really was suprising me at the beginning of our games but later I started adjusting to it. I hate how every sheik can DACUS/BDACUS but I can't:< She is a really cool character I would like to use but I can't quite do all her advance techs that well(went from GC to nunchuck cuz Wii U/Smash 4). Thanks for the sheik experience! O and work on your DI you died way too early many times lol.

I never learned that DACUS either, even with the GC controller. Only ever did it a handful of times before dropping her

O I don't quite remember that but I think I shined...yea that describes it. You got shine blinded.
@ Snailtopus Snailtopus Well I learned it with GC with these inputs: Dash>Down cstick> up A. Worked for every character for sheik I practically inputted the inputs at the same times. No matter what I do on nunchuck I can't Dacus or bdacus with most of the cast excluding falco and maybe snake.

All I had to do was set my "R" button to attack. Then I just use the "L" button to shield and dodge.
To do the DACUS, I do this quickly:
Right/Left on the left analog depending on which direction -> Down on the C-Stick -> IMMEDIATELY up on the left analog + pressing down the "R" button.
It seemed intimidating to me at first, but I got it down after only a couple of tries. :3

And thanks for the advice; DI seems to be a bit difficult for me. xD
When you say "walk this way" shouldn't be the only tactic I use, then what other options are there? Sheik doesn't seem to do very well with approaching at all. She plays more of a bait-and-punish style, right?

@ Amical Amical I would not be much help in that department but the way you did it was somewhat predictable. Sheik can aggro with the right spacing, she just happens to be one of the most potent punishers in this game.
EDIT: I guess you could watch pro sheiks for a few ideas. I can't remember them from the top of my head though. ED comes to mind though.

Good games. Connection was actually pretty beautiful, one of the best I've seen since I started playing this game online, really. It was harsh watching you self-destruct so often. It happened so many times that first game that I thought we were just desynching or something. Might I ask how long you've been playing the game? Also, welcome to the forums! :applejack:

Appreciate it. I played Melee for a long time, but this is my first time competitive at all and first time playing against anyone but close friends in specifically Brawl. No excuse, I'm trying to learn the ins and the outs of Olimar so getting whooped is part of it haha If I cut down on the self destructions I may be on the right track :p Anyone else down, I'll host with my marvelous connection
