Olimar , using the KopPad, directs the blue pikmin to assist Chrom and attempts to throw the rock pikmin and red pikmin at the Dyna Blade's back.

One of the rock pikmin hits Dyna Blade right in the chest. It screeches in pain and flies back up, but not before picking up one of the red pikmin and throwing it off the cliff.

I send out Dipperin the Oddish and get it to use sweet scent to slow Dyna Blade's movements. I then run over to Nana to attempt to free her. If the spear won't come out of the ground, I slice it off.

Dyna Blade seems to accept the offer, but just as you prepare to leave, a streak of dark purple shoots from behind the group and obliterates the birds and their nest, leaving a smoky crater. "Wasn't a very useful bird, wouldn't you say?" When you turn around to see who spoke, you only catch a glimpse of a figure literally melting into the shadows.
The voice speaks again, although from where it's not apparent. "Oh, and for your sakes, I hope you know yourselves very well."

Whoa, I guess you could say we were just given some foreshadowing. Seriously, though, who could that be? That was dark magic, I assume. Also, what was that about pikmin signals in the wagons? Thieves/stowaways, maybe? We should check it out.

I propose we keep the Clauncher alive. They don't offer much meat, and instead can make a hardy battle partner. After all, the water compression attacks of theirs can prove quite handy in a fight.

Okay, I'll command it to use Absorb, and then throw another Poke Ball. Hopefully that'll do the trick. A Clauncher can be a valued ally.
