I'm fairly sure that wasn't a serious post, but I guess I'm one of the few who thinks Ridley won't be anything but maybe a boss in Subspace Emmissary. I just can't picture him being playable. I don't have reasons for thinking one way or the other, i'm just trying to visualize how he's going to fit in, and I can't.
I'm all for him being a boss though.

I just don't see Ridley fitting into the scheme of Brawl. I'm sorry if I have a hard time visualizing it. If he's in the game, great, and if not, it doesn't really matter to me. I'm not trying to diss the guy cause I think he's a badass boss, but that's just it. He's a badass boss. That's what I wanna see him as.

Just look at the first boss, Petey Piranha? he hardly is Ridley's equivalent to the Mario franchise... probably Kraid would work better as a boss or Mother Brain.

Me neither (aside from seeing a really crappy Fox user losing against a decent Bowser player in Melee, which needless to say, is very rare).

While I do understand the comparison to Charizard in the aspect that they both can fly, Charizard also can walk, and I don't think I've ever seen Ridley do that. I can't put my finger on it, but something just doesn't fit well with seeing Ridley on the character selection screen.

The only reason Samus didn't die in the first fight against Ridley in Metroid Prime 3, is because Rundas came and took her sorry *** out of the elevator shaft.

It wasnt Meta Ridley, though. It was normal Ridley. Didn't any of you notice that? Also,
Omega Ridley looked pretty hard but was actually the easiest of the 3 bosses in MP3.

Didn't Ridley do more walking in MP3? I know most of it was on four legs, (ofcourse, he would be bipedal in Brawl) but didn't he have a funky looking and yet somehow badass walk?
