This is incredibly stupid... We don't know, and if the spear is a "Pro" then the Black Knight would have priority over Mog, he uses a spear and is important to Fire Emblem, and is not third party, hence nintendo whont waste money(since it seems that's another pro...) on the Black Knight.

I never though Waluigi would serve a purpose, but he debunks this argument, he has been in every single Mario Spin off since Mario Tenis, he is Wario's brother and Luigi's Arch-nemesis. he had a big fan-base(unlike mog), and he isn't third party, and he is... yes, an AT.

If a character costs less that's not a pro, since Cloud would be worth the price, since every****ing gamer in the world knows him. Or has heard of him. Unlike Mog.

I know, 1st and foremost, Mog has slim chances. You could be right, maybe not even a sticker.
I also know a lot of people hate me, platnum, and ~Krystal~ for even supporting Mog.
If you don't like Mog, or think he has no chance, then go ahead, post your argument or whatever.
Just leave if you're gonna flame the supporters, I mean at least give a good argument.
Of course, none of you are flaming, but I don't want the tension to escalate.

Ex: one of his down sections he flips in the air and drives the person he lands on into the ground. Or a neutral move could be a near reaching whirlwind spin. If I make a chart of some sort, would you integrate it?

Cloud would be worth the price? He would have to sale many many copies that are likely going to sell anyway. When you save money and get a unique character that can adequately rep a company, everybody wins. Cloud has been present in one main Final Fantasy game. Chocobos and Moogles have been present in nearly all of them! Mog=Moogle and a very unique one at that.

You're hopeless, you and Platnum have repeated this over and over and over again, when it's and argument that hasn't been shot down countless times, Mog isn't popular enough to warrant a Playable slot, not even an AT.

I'm not trolling so the only reason you guys should have to hate me is that I'm beautiful. But he's the deal, Cloud Strife would easily encourage more sales of Brawl than Mog would. Would Mog cost less? Perhaps since he's obviously a less signficant character. But think about it, taking a Mog or even the more significant Chocobo from the Square-Enix franchise is equivalent to taking a Chao or a Flicky from the Sega/Sonic franchise. A Chao is a noticeable part of the Sonic franchise, but far too insignificant to invest so much in and I believe a Mog is just as pointless.

Yeah but the problem is you are arguing for Black Knight's inclusion, in which case he wouldn't end up with a spear, but the signature swords his fans know him for.

Nope. I'm saying Waluigi didn't appear in franchise games that mattered. Thats the difference between him and Mog and its a mighty notable difference. You know what all those sports spin-offs bought Waluigi? A trip to ATville with a tennis racket as a weapon.

He doesn't need to outprioritize Geno first of all since Geno isn't even an adequate SE rep and since when did Cloud become the face of the Final Fantasy franchise? He has a large fan base and that is it. He hasn't shown up in every major Final Fantasy, he is simply one of the most loved characters from that series of games. Thats not proper representation and anyone who says otherwise is not being honest with themselves.

Mog doesn't need to be popular enough. He is highly recognizable as a Moogle and one that brings a unique moveset to Brawl. The fact he is an FF representative alone would draw a wider audience to Smash. Not everyone loves Cloud and not everyone loves FFVII. Cloud is easily the most overrated character in the franchise, but he finds his way into many FF themed titles on the strength of fan support. Sakurai doesn't need to bend over backwards to include Cloud, he has a spectacular roster that will generate many many sales. He has more freedom to do as he pleases and why wouldn't one of those freedoms include putting a very recognizable character that would bring a unique flavor to Smash and not the tired swordsman?

Now if you'll excuse me, i have better stuff to do than argue this over and over again.

Snake isn't in to promote MGS4. If he was he would be in his Old Snake form. Snake is in to represent the whole Metal Gear series. Cloud would most likely do the same thing since he's the biggest and most popular FF character ever, and is almost the face of the franchise. He'd definitely be the first choice. I do hate him, though, and Final Fantasy VII, but you cannot deny the facts.
