Yeah, me and my brother were pretty good at the start. We used to do the whole KBK online tournament thing =D. I got back into it and when I play on normal maps I get about 50/50, so I've really declined in skill. The people that are left right now are the people that still play, mind you. You won't log onto bnet these days and catch some guy who doesn't build SCVs. Just doesn't ****in' happen. Also, if you are playing Terran, more than likely you are playing someone who's decent, and knows how to micro, lol. Who did you play on SC? When I was younger I played Toss, then shortly played Zerg, and 2 years ago I got back into it a little and I mained Terran.

I look forward to playing with you =). Gotta brush off the RTS skills and let the crazy fighting game skills rust for a little bit =).

Also, Smash is getting stale. Very, very stale. I'm starting to see some of the reason there is people preferring Melee over Brawl.

In Melee, when someonee was kicking everyone else's butt, everyone else was going, "Ohh, that was awesoooome!" Triple Kn33'$, woot.

In Brawl, if someone's beating everyone, the line is, "That's dumb. That's really dumb. That's ******* cheap-*** bull****. That's the dumbest ******* thing I ever ******* saw."

Bleah, not much fun. It'd be more fun if some big OOS tournament happened around here or something, but the chances of that happening are literally and exactly nil.

There's little point to the tournaments around here, it's known almost to the letter where everyone stands in relation to each other. We're fast approaching the point where those garbage item FFA's are more fun (just for party value) and long as nobody reads at all into who wins.

You should head over to my apt more, Josh and Steve come over all the time. We also play a bunch of Halo, which is pretty much a party game anyways. Plus you can own them all in Melee, since I never get to play against Justin, Jon, or Josh really.

Smash isn't dead. I loved all the technicality of Melee, too. Once you get it, it's so satisfying to play at your best =D.

I probably wouldn't show my face unless I had at least a month to practice. It would be quite embarrassing if I showed up at a Melee tournament moving my character like a 5-year old who's played the game twice in his life. (and that's what me trying to play Melee looks like after half a year of Brawl.)

I could make a respectable showing in Melee only if I completely shelved Brawl for a month. Too many differences in character movement, is the main thing.

I play a bit, just enough so it doesn't feel foreign holding a controller. Just started piano again after not playing for about 2 weeks. Haven't lost too much, really. I started tinkering with that duet piece and came up with a few changes to my part that I like. Mainly worked on a bit of an opening and closing...sequence, for lack of the right word. Eventually, when I get a good amount of free time, I'll disappear and reappear at your place and I'll demonstrate what I'm talking about.
