I'm probably either gonna no-show or mess around on the 20th. I didn't expect a little bit of lag to affect the game this much, but for me, it literally feels like playing half a game. It's really not much fun to try to play seriously with the lag.
So, if I decide to play, expect to see either Officer E-bay Badge (Falcon) or Jaws (Wario), just for the heck of it.
EDIT: My best idea, though not likely the one I'll follow, would be to skip the tournament, then meet you to play afterward.

I think the next tourney is actually on parents weekend or whatever and my parents are coming up, so I may not even be able to go. who knows I'll find out later this week for sure.

hmm felix is fired up.... i wish that guy would take that MM. yeah i dont think im gunna be there either.. think i might be going to visit Baylor.. i dont know though... maby? it would be nice to not play felix 2nd round again

You'll only see me at the tournament if I have nothing better to do.

EVO, schmEVO. That was one of the most hackneyed garbage tournaments I ever heard of, and any "world champion" decided by that BS is illegit. We all know that. Why even bring up that stench?
I never said the ROB player was the best player in the world. I just said I wouldn't pay ten for the world champion to play me whoever the hell that is. The ROB player just won the biggest tournament in the US for $5,000 with items and smash balls, lol.

Signups from 6 PM to 7 PM, tourney starts at 7 PM. They have been known to start up to 30 minutes early, though.

Hahaha, anyways, it was a pretty good tournament. No one good really showed up for Brawl, so I let my brother Smash everyone for 1st =D.
LMAO, I actually took 1st for Guitar Hero 3, even though I've only played the game twice (including this time) lol!
Fun times.
Tech girls are sexy and they kept dropping by to see what's going on =D.

Actually, EVO lost their Toyota sponsorship, so the pot was distributed through the top 3 with the usually 70/20/10. I don't know how much of the fees went to the actually pot, because some of the $20 entry fees where to cover for the arcade games that where available like SFIV, the BlazBlue and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
A lot of people said this last EVO sucked balls, Smash had about 100 people only and the pros and **** didn't even care about winning, and a lot of them didn't even show up.
