I know I make mistakes too, but I've never posted a counter that I knew didn't work, and allowed people to just keep going past it while pretending that it worked. And like I said, I stayed quiet about my Absol, and this already happened once with my Hariyama, but this is the 3rd frigging time... no go.

I'm sorry for the oversized scary Red Post, but I was just ticked off... I've failed in my counter attempts many many times, but I atleast never PRETENDED that it worked, and allowed the game to continue...

And yes, this is a perfect example of a counter that works! Thank you Wouw. Also, I can't help but to laugh at the last part. I'm falling apart over here at that...

We need the mods to update this. They need to ban Choice Items (if people are still failing with their counters, then maybe they shouldn't try to use Choice Items, which have failed just as much recently), and they need to add a rule about people needing to post some statistics on how their counter works... heck, it's as easy as taking the attacking stat, dividing it by the defending stat, multiplying it by the base power (which is modified by offensive items), and then multiplying by multipliers (super effective and such). The results are more accurate than Metalkid's calculator, and for the minimum power that a Counter has to be able to do to get the win, just multiply the final by .85.

Ah. He did fix it. Yay.

And yes, we should be able to prove that the counter works, unless it's something obvious like (Pikachu + Thunder, Volt Tackle, Thunderwave and Charge verses a Marowak with Earthquake). Math isn't that hard to do... If too many people have trouble with trying to do it, then it's okay. But I still think people should try to be able to show the statistics for their counter working.

Also, Charm does indeed work on Genderless Pokemon. You'd have your Earthquake's attack power halved upon entry if you didn't have Clearbody as an ability....

Dang it to freaking heck. I forgot that since Garchomp was banned they decided to make Flygon OU...
