Hey Luigi's, a while ago the Link boards helped contribute to the Luigi vs Link matchup. Well anyways we're now discussing the Link vs Luigi matchup so if you guys can come and share your knowledge it would be wonderful

Hello Luigi boards! My name is Junglefever and I help moderate the Smashboards Information Center. At the SIC, we are attempting to create a mentoring program for older and newer members to go to so that they can progress in their smash career on a more personal level than just SWF. Mentors communicate to their pupils through PMs and AIM, in addition to playing WIFI with each other. We believe that the Mentoring Program is a good addition along with the character boards to help members get better.
So what do i need from you guys? I need a couple volunteers from your character board that are willing to mentor pupils one on one and help them get better at their desired character.
For any interested, please PM me the character you are interested in mentoring in, and what exactly you can bring to the table. How long have you been a Luigi main? Do you go to tourneys? Do you have access to wifi? What achievements have you earned in your time smashing?

Luckily, my sis gets her driver's license this week, and after a month or two, I'm sure my mom will let her take me to in-state things.

All the colors are 2 gud on luigi. I personaly wouldn't pick the pink one though xd.

I almost always be Fire Luigi. I almost never be regular Luigi, though. Fire Luigi > all other colors.
Edit: Should Luigi have had his Fire Ball replaced with his Poltergust 3000 (don't replace the cyclone since it's awesome for recovery)?

That's the Poltergust 4000, dude, which is from Mario Kart DS. There's a huge difference between the two; I was talking about Luigi's vacuum that he used to suck up ghosts in Luigi's Mansion. However, the Poltergust 4000 is also a good idea.

The Poltergust 3000 on Luigi would suck pretty hard... In the bad metaphorical sense.....
All his specials are pretty **** good, replacing them would just be weird.
However... I could imagine it being a taunt or something that can effect the opponent, like the weegee kick or something

I've only seen like 3 Luigi players ever use pink as their main color, everyone else I've seen opts for Purple, Green or Orange.
Fire Luigi and Bluigi need more love, but I've used Pink since I started playing smash in 2005 and I don't plan on opting out anytime soon!

The only change that would make Luigi top tier is a faster jab cancel to be able to follow up a jab on anyone instead of just the low tiered ones+DDD... That would be legit, not the faster fireball + tripping DA that bbrawl **** out of nowhere =/
