One week since I posted here last time...

Well, semifinals start today, Brazil x Germany and Netherlands x Argentina...

As I expected, we made it through Colombia, too bad Neymar won't be able to play until the rest due to what Zuñiga has done to him. Seriously, curse you dude!

France was playing better against Germany, but Hummels's goal kind of destabilized them. Belgium x Argentina was similar to this too. After Higuain scored, Belgium seemed a lot impatient, and couldn't pressure Argentina well until the final 10 minutes...

And man, Netherlands x Costa Rica, amazing. I was rooting for Costa Rica so badly! Actually the majority in Arena Fonte Nova also was! Still can't believe they've held Netherlands's attack for the entire game!

Unfortunately they've lost at penalties. Netherlands's coach replaced Cillessen for Krul just for them, and he caught two...

But regardless of that, they did an outstanding campaign, making in 1st through the Death Group, suffering only 2 goals (best defense of this Cup) and getting eliminated without losing! They've won my eternal charisma and support, hopefully they will do even better at Russia in 2018!

Anyway, can't wait for Brazil x Germany, the match starts in a few hours. We will have to see how Brazil is going to do with the absenses of Neymar and Thiago Silva, two of our best players. But Germany always feared Brazil, and certainly won't be different today. They still didn't forget the World Cup's final in 2002, and although our team is worse compared to the one from this past time, they're now in our territory, so we'll see!

Alright I guess. A while back I sorta started trying to secondary Marth, then it turned into co-maining him, and then some time after that I just gave up hope on brawl because I wasn't having fun anymore. Plus PM was entertaining me a whole lot more and I felt I could get somewhere in that.

But I changed my mind and decided to care about brawl again. At the least, I'm hoping to take a relevant player win with Luigi by the time smash 4 comes out (or at least before brawl dies).

I probably gave up to easily before, but oh well. That's what you get for trying to main a mediocre character in tristate of all regions.

Well guys, the tournament happened last Sunday...

Got 2nd, improving my position!

Went with and ...

It was pretty good to see the others players again after quite a while!

Anyway, in my first set I've fought against a guy who used and . 3-stocked and 2-stocked , but the guy didn't play Brawl too much, he likes more of PM (well, that's mostly what is happening recently)...

Then I've faced a main, won by 2 x 0. After that was Winners Semis, against my friend, the one who mains and defeated me on LF at the last tourney. Very close set and defeated him by 2 x 1. In all these sets I was only playing with ...

But in WF it was time to face the main, so I went with , lost by 2 x 1 (WF and LF had to be Bo3 instead of Bo5), but it was disputed...

At LF, I once again played against my friend main, winning this time by 2 x 0, was with . Glad to see that I made it through this matchup 3 times at this tourney...

Well, GF, back to , lost by 3 x 1, in one of the matches at last stock, I was above 220% e he was with 150%...

Despite losing, I didn't get frustrated, after all my performance was better. But there were some things which made me play worse...

I was missing a lot the timing for jab cancel (was kind of nervous), doing too many spotdodges and also not making a good use of foxtrotting and retreating jabs, maybe I wasn't using them in a proper way. Still training at it...

I also noticed I wasn't mixing my follow ups too much. Against , although I was mixing at down throw, such as with regrab, jab, up tilt or Dsmash, I wasn't doing things like forward throw or up throw sometimes. And against , many times I didn't try to juggle him at low % using up throw, and at high %, was despairingly trying to land a KO move, and wasn't trying to force him offstage with side throws ...

This might had happened because I was a bit nervous, so I couldn't think in a more appropriate follow up or get a read, don't know if I can really answer that...

Anyway, I'll try to work more on it and wait for the next time...

Thanks. There were 25 people in it, here's the results.

Also, not sure to be honest. I sorta liked it because games were over faster, and I wouldn't get as demotivated like I feel I would have if it was 3 stock, particularly for the games when I played Xzax and False.

Although you were trying and missing too many Up B's, and also doing other weird stuff (down taunt, really?? That's disrespect... LOL), you did pretty good!

You played really well in doubles from what I saw. Killed wario with up b at 90 and fox at 88 with fsmash. Looks like Luigi is still pretty strong. A lot of people said up b's kill power was nerfed, but from what I saw the nerf seems pretty small.

Mario only at 90%??? Was in FD at least, since the stage has high ceiling?

If not, that's a hell of a nerf, in Brawl the move kills way earlier, like a bit above 60%...

This thing is totally nonsense, the move is weaker and still has this horrendous landing lag. They could have at least removed it...

I didn't see the one with Mario, but wario at 90 at the bottom of battlefield is pretty good considering wario is pretty heavy. A lot of strong moves got nerfed, not just Luigi's. Fox's up smash doesn't kill till around 120. As long as it's killing most of the cast below 100, I can live with it.
