I'm sorry Phil.
I can't figure out if your post is a argument, a clarification, both, or neither.
Not sure where the pride comes from. Any way you see it, including humorously.I successfully turned this into a debate. yay
I'm sorry for ignoring this earlier. I stopped reading this when I figured out that I have been given the "predict= punish" lecture. It just depends on how smart your opponent is. *If you notice that he isn't punishing, then abuse it. *If you're getting read with every roll, it's time to stop.
The opposing character also matters. *Some characters literally cannot punish his roll...or at the very least have to read you in advance.
Just play how you want to play. *If it works, then don't worry about it.
Learn to be flexible.
Yeah!!!pretty much just this LOL
Oh ok...It was just replying to the topic of rolling as an option/habit in general, kind of a clarification I guess. *You can tell when people are waiting not in shield that's usually anticipating a roll, so if you don't do one and go gung-ho on them, it gets them usually lol.
Not sure where the pride comes from. Any way you see it, including humorously.my comment was obviously sarcastic.
