I was watching your guys crew fight, you know in friendly's and i have to say it was so boring every match i watched! The only one worth watching was Cyphus good job for not sucking so hard.

Yeah. I would probably try to convince some other Lafayette people to go with me today, but I don't have my car, and driving the truck would be way too costly. 90% sure I'm not coming this time. It's a good 3 hour drive.
By the way, do you guys usually start the smashfest at around 7:00-8:00?

-Singles $5 each and Teams $10/team
-4 stock/ 8:00/ best 2 of 3/ advanced slobs/ stage bans/ can call for double blind picks
Basically all of the typical rules. Wobbling is allowed banned [edit]. If you wanna know anything else just ask me, and I'll answer.

Well, actually Jesse is gonna be working. I told him that I'd be there around 11:00 - 12:00
to set up and whatnot. Since we won't have to wait to clear arcade machines or anything, people should have a good hour or so to warm up.

I will have to come out to your place real soon after my basic in Georgia I'll be visiting your state soon after that.
so like..i drove to dibbz got there at 1...didn't get to play melee til 2:30, then smashed til 5 then drove back home..went to sleep at 6:30, woke up at 10:30...now here i am at 11...and i have work in 30 minutes.
I played Ricky once..and john like 20 times. deffinately wasn't worth it coming.
me and john went even first 5ish games...then i couldn't beat him the next 8 or so...then finally i beat him 4 in a row and back to even. my hands felt sweaty and something stinked by me the whole time. deffinately couldn't stay in my zone, but ill try my best to go again this coming sat, and everyone better make it.

Well, I think I've done playing with LA smash for now. Nice games to anyone I got to see, sucks I couldn't get matches past New Orleans and Houma peeps

Alex will have her camera, so she's going to record some stuff. Sudai, have you checked somewhere like Best Buy or Radio Shack for the splitters? I assume you mean the RCA Y-splitter things that are listed in here. I actually looked the other day in Wal-Mart but didn't see any.
Also, I'm thinking Vaughn and I are gonna do pretty well in teams.

cyphus have you and lee determined how you're going to tx? me, kyle, you, and lee could possibly ride together? but if we take my car i need a new front tire and mounting and balancing so we dont die on the way (my car is that awesome), plus it would put miles on my car so yall would have to split the gas without me. i dont remember how many times we filled up in shygs car but maybe like 4 tanks or something. like 40$ for you lee and kyle maybe? i'll do actual math later, thats a random estimate.

ive had an awesome week though, and i have a really difficult situation to deal with, so who else should i ask for help than my la *****s? right. im going to lay out most of the story and everyone respond because idk what to do? yes.
so theres this super awesome chick that i totally want to date like hardcore. i just met her less than a week ago and we've been hanging out like every night until 7 in the morning? sorry for neglecting you kyle. so the problem is she goes to school in california and was just here for this past summer/semester/and winter break. shes going back saturday. sucks i had all this time to meet her but only now did? anyway. during this time she got into way to much drama with all my crazy group of friends (im not going into details but its all pretty ******** and regards most of them using her or treating her like **** in some way.) so we're supposed to drink tomorrow night and hang out again, but mindgames, it's my roomates 21 bday. sucks because this has been planed for a while, and he himself (leo) is totally cool with the girl, but most of our mutual friends that will be coming she cant be around. though the time i took to write this i think i found a solution but im going to post this anyway? i'll just talk to leo, and he'll understand, especially since hes cool with her and shes leaving saturday, then just go drink at my dads house. my dad will be down so no johns or problems. okthxbai

Taylor, it sounds like Leo would understand in this situation and if not, it's up to you what you wanna do. I know you didn't exactly ask about long distance relationships, but I've had two long distance relationships, one with a girl in Santa Monica, California. It was hard, but it made the times we got to spend with each other that much better. We got to see each other for a week every other month or so and managed to last till right before the two years mark. (from when I was 14-16). It takes a lot of trust and a lot of understanding. It's worth it though because you actually know the relationship means something beyond the physical and that's just an awesome feeling when you know that it is 100%.
yea but when ur 14 years old u don't really know anything, and its proven you "love" with a different part of the brain than an adult. (not to take anything away from you empathy sudai) but i'm old now, and its easier to look back now at my past and see how most of it is really just lonelyness and infatuation.
i've been 'talking' w/ megan from FL for almost 5 years now, and still never met...and its sorta difficult because it holds me back on some things in real life. (if i had sex, i'd feel i'd be cheating on her, even though theres a mutual understanding we're not actually dating/official/etc) Its like we're just waiting for each other...and...it sucks. (i'm not gonna be emo and say it REALLY sux..but like....i just wouldn't recomend putting yourself in that sort of boxed in situation. Granted, i'm optimistic about the future when i do meet her, i could have had gfs that made me happy as well, and then...say i finally did meet her..i still have that option to be with who i want. its just wierd. emotional johns?
