Hey there fella's, I'm not quite sure where y'all live, but I've recently moved to Louisiana (I'm visiting with my mom in Florida right now, but will be coming back within the next couple of days) and I was wondering if I could get in on any Smash, I don't have much exposure... but I play Link... alot... I mean, when me and my uncle are around each other, we'll play for hours every day, anyways, I'd like to test my might against some other Lousiana smashers, and I was wondering when the next tourney is and so on, I didn't wanna scan all three hundred pages, so I figured you guys might be kind enough as to give me this information.

Catobates, there's going to be a tourney at LSU Tomorrow night if you're interested. It'll be in the Union all the way on the top floor. It's part of a big video game night thing and it'll be played along with 3 other tournaments. Some games will be played on projectors, so watch out for the lag if you play very technically. It'll start at 10 p.m. and it'll end at 2 a.m.

Who's all going by the way? I know I am.

Sweet, you guys are very hospitable, sadly, I'm leaving tomorrow night to go home, so I won't be able to make it to the tourney, otherwise, I'd be there in a heart beat. I live in Lockport... which, I'm pretty sure is fairly close to Monroe, I know it's an hour from Baton Rouge, and an hour from Lafayette as well. I see your edit, you live in BR area, again, I'm about an hour from Baton Rouge, but I recently got a car, and I'll be working with my Dad once I get back, so I should be able to get the brakes fixed (they have a slow leak) then I'll be going everywhere to smash, I don't have internet in LA though Unless I go to my Buddy Ben's house, which I may just do to keep you fella's informed. To Setsuma, that would be tight, I've got a cell (not with me, and it's boost mobile, so I don't always have minutes) anyways, I'll take the number, and I may just call you one day (randomly) when I have my car running and ****, to see if you're down for some Smash.

lockport would be right next to raceland. and lockport would also be right next to houma which is like 20-25 minutes away.(i used to live in lockport) so your definetely the closest to houma. which is where me and cyphus live. so

:D I'm so happy. The best two smashers in LA, that means I get good practice, and it's a good thing I'm not a gambling man :D Cause I play a mean Link, but I'm in no way naive about the fact that my small amount of exposure could very well mean that y'all can kick my ***. I'm used of playing guys that haven't been able to play anyone but close friends (and had no idea about smashboards) of course, I pick up new techniques and tactics instantly (and it takes me usually less than a day to master any of these said things) but I guess I won't see how good I am until the time comes to play. Anyways, I'll tell you a couple things, all my basics are completely mastered (I don't like to wavedash, but I tech every time I come crashing hard), I always have a boomerang, bomb and/or bow out (and any mix of the three) If you are weak, I will have no mercy (and if I'm weak, I want no mercy). I will keep playing until I figure your game out, and crack it, then I hope you're good at adapting, because if you aren't, I'll keep crushing you (undoubtedly like you would have crushed me, if I had to crack your game) I'm a hookshotting ******* to get back on the level, so I hope you knock me to bomb recovery range, because that's something I don't care for (if you were good enough to get me that far... there's no point in me wasting effort to just be blown off again, aka, that technique is only good against noobs in my opinion) Anyways, if y'all are good (but I mean REAL good) then y'all might be able to kick my ***. Of course, there is the lack of exposure thing against me... and I could just be talkin' outta my *** here. Anyways, enough about me, tell me a little about yourselves.

all below in regrads to Pokemon, so skip if u desire
anyone else have pokemon for DS?
i have 4 level 60s-ish atm. Empoleon, Medicham, Weavile, and Azelf (so far my current team)
i don't believe in using anything better than the standard legendaries(so i'm not using dialga, etc)....i don't plan on using any TMs either, until i know for a fact what i want my final team to be when it reaches its peak levels, cuz i'd hate to regret using a TM on the wrong pokemon.
but yea..i'm def up some trades/battles if anyone wants.
I just beat the elite 4, and i gotta say the game is very fun, especially coming from how i disliked the ruby/saphire genre.

Definitely man, I look forward to playing you as well, I also look forward to some *** whippings, at least at first, I am by no means full of myself. I simply love to play Smash, and I was basically just explaining the way I play Generally that is. I'm used of playing a badass Ganon, a Fox, a Sheik, a Marth, and their secondaries, as well as Samus and ****, but only the Ganon is really badass, so it's gonna take some adjusting against the faster characters, but that's the point of learning hmm?
